Upgraded my main school to cc4.5 last half term, 3 other smaller schools being done staggered in half term and easter.

Farewell 2003 I reckon you were pretty good, especially with SR2

Yes. Have one DC on 2003 and one on 2008.

Just buying a replacement server today. Will be decommissioning the 2003 server at half term.

Nope, but i did like my old 2003r2 + xp network. Found it to be quite stable and fairly easy to manage.

Yes we have some chunks of 2003, global project to be rid but people just won't let it die! GRRR I have a weekly meeting about it and progress / lack of progress made.

Not since August 2013 here. Moved to 2008 R2 and 2012. So much better.

Sadly, yes - a single web server required for running some old MFL software internally because the provider can't be bothered to recompile for .NET 4 (come on, please, a single command with a different flag, pleeeeeease), and we just could not get it running on 2008R2 with its newer framework. Wasn't happy about it then, even less happy about it now

I've got 5 servers running 2003:

 

Terminal Server

Print Server & Anti-Virus

2 x File Server

SharePoint 2003 server

 

I've almost completed the transition of our SharePoint to 2013.

Print Server is almost complete. I now need to install our AV onto it.

The Terminal Server will simply be decommissioned.

Our 2 x file server is going to be tricky. Managlement are reluctant to spend money on a new server.

both are horrid and aged our MFL dept have pretty much ditched it after we moved our intranet to a 2008 box initially and now 2012r2.

I'm positive we re-installed this on 2008 R2 this summer...

 

It's definitely there, just need to check what it's doing.

Unfortunately it appears I didn't succeed with this, though I had no recollection that I hadn't succeeded. I did copy the content and recreate the IIS entries, but they aren't working. The shortcuts in use around school are still pointing to the old 2003 server, which is only online for Creo Elements (hostname-based license) - it is pure fluke that the same server hosts Metro/Logo, hence why nobody from MFL has come crying to me yet.

 

However Andy somebody on here claims to have hacked it successfully, so I've PM'd him.

I seem to have just succeeded, but I'd like someone else to try it out before I claim I definitely have!
