Why's that? I've never had any problems with them. (then again i haven't used them for a while, and i think they use yodel now...) might of answered my own question lol.

In a way I feel like this about Christmas, Easter and other religious festivals, why celebrate it if you're not religious......

 

I dont want to get into a religious debate but that's just my thinking.....

 

I like to celebrate Christmas even though I don't think I'm religious (idk what I believe in if anything). However Christmas for me has always been a very family / friends orientated time where we all come together, like exchanging gifts to see the recipients reaction etc etc

Same here - apart from Yodel though I try to get deliveries sent to school nowadays (not 100% infallible, but better than home).

Bad experiences with them in the past, items not being in stock but not telling me, then failing to deliver them when they finally did get stock.

 

I will add that this was a couple of years ago but their customer services was appalling and I vowed never to used them again.

 

Pretty much always use Scan. Excellent service and their DPD tracking is always spot on to the hour slot they give you.

Fair enough, i used them when i built my own pc, only bad thing i've ever had with them was a faulty HD, but they refunded that after i sent it them back with a free postage label.

Some not bad stuff on at Asda.

40" LED TV for £139 (Polariod so not great quality but still a good price)

Xbox 360 with halo 4 and forza horizon for £99

Few more, more deals tomorrow. I'm not going to be joining the queues to not get one.

Well, got some good deals on the Amazon Black Friday for some Christmas prezzies for the Mrs, some nice bits of jewellery and a watch. Just after I'd ordered them she dropped a not too subtle hint on something else that she would like for Christmas:rolleyes: This is going to get expensive, but she's worth it:D

My Mrs wanted the box set of friends. The dvd was 49 on amazon and the I spotted the Blu-ray box set at 45 on the deals...

 

And she got me the new season of family with 25% off :)

PC World are selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 for £248.99 (that's £150 off the usual price when you include the cashback!).

Bought a x1 with fifa, forza, cod and gta 5 with 2 controllers for £400.

 

Bought a 55 inch series 8 UHD curved tv for £1500.

 

Bought a titan z gfx card for £900.

Amazon deals are shocking. Every item I have wanted so far drops to within 5% of the nearest online competitor's price. I actually got one item for £5 less from toys r us full price than in the black friday deal.

 

Long gone are the £50 Wii/Xbox deals of a few years back :(

So far i've bought myself two 480GB Intel 730 SSDs in that mega offer OcUK had.

 

Going to RAID0 those badboys, not too shabby, 960gb of SSD for £200 after cashback offer :D

 

EDIT: Now i want myself a new monitor seeing as i have to sell my nice 3 x 27" and drop to one due to baby #2 growing in the missus as we speak!

amazons email this morning was showing they were selling a samsung 1tb ssd at some point but ive yet to see it

Well I'm sorry to say i may have got your hopes up, some mean person posted that epic deal on hotukdeals last night and they sold out within a few hours.

 

That said, OcUK are trying to get more stock, so keep an eye on it! There is a 240gb for £75 but that's not quite as awesome as the 480gb for £130 + £30 cashback offer.
