mikeprice Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 Last week we took the dogs up Scafell, enjoying the views on the way up. Then it got a bit foggy at the top and it followed us all the way down back to Eskdale the dog on the right doesn't seem impressed!
alan-d Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 (edited) the dog on the right doesn't seem impressed! lol, he wasn't and neither was my wife who chose to tell me at this point that she had blisters, which made the return journey worse. She still hasn't forgiven me! The dogs have though! :-D The day started reasonably well just before that :-) Illgill Head by Alan, on Flickr Edited April 24, 2017 by alan-d Missing photo
tg12 Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 A few from my now annual April visit (4th year in a row!) to Silverstone for the World Endurance Championship & European Le Mans Series double header. Quite pleased with these, you can definitely see the progress of improvement if you look at my albums from these events for the past few years.

HarryMonkey Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Took this as I walked to work this morning on my samsung galaxy S7 edge. If I had to walk past that every day, I don't think I'd ever get to work. I'd just take a chair and a sandwich and that would be me for the rest of the day. 1

alan-d Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Nice photo taken with a 450D, mine is getting cleaned tonight ready for our week break on the Isle of Skye at the end of this month. I don't use mine as much since I got the EOS M3 for landscape type photography. (Purely because it was smaller when hiking and I can use existing lenses with the converter ). The autofocus is still superior on the 450D so still gets some use. 1

Skye's really nice, don't expect sunshine though so you should get some nice moody shots of the mountains. You do sometimes get sunshine though The drive up there is quite something too 1

enjay Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 There is a row of coloured shop fronts like that on Skye too, in Portree. Is this a common Scottish thing? Also, a very fine fish and chip shop among them last time I looked for it, don't know if it is still there. But if it isn't, the Cafe Arriba on the road down to the waterfront is a good alternative. I love your second photo, the lighting is great. Some of my photos were taken on a little Lumix compact, which doesn't really have the oomph for the light conditions 1
