witch Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Just watched Twister - quite fun, really Then again, I am sitting on a sofa in a house in Brighton, and have been here since 10am watching mrwITch and daughter working on her final year uni project. I came along because I wanted to see her but I am SO BORED, so it is likely that my ability to recognise a decent film is probably compromised.

I also watched "A million ways to die in the West" but that was a clichéd comedy western which even Seth MacFarlane looked bored and uninterested by! sparkeh Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Went to see Insurgent last night. Really enjoyed it. My wife (who has read the books) said the film was far superior to the book (more likeable/less irritating characters and less depressing/more hopeful storyline).

Not really the sort of movies that most of the forum would be interested in, but: A Novel Romance: Book critic Amy Acker (Angel, Person of Interest) is getting over a very public break-up with a celebrity sports person when she meets the "perfect" guy who, unknown to her, is the mystery author of a Nicholas Sparks style bestseller. Can they find... well, you know the drill. Signed, Sealed, Delivered for Christmas: Christmas movie edition of the series about the workers at Denver's Dead Letter Office. Imagine "Touched by an Angel" with postal workers. The series is a bit of a guilty pleasure - full-on fromage, but quite sweet. Film is more of the same, but set at Christmas and featuring fantasy (or not, depending on your religious views) elements.

I know lets make these people X dimensional beings that can cross the barrier of time and space, tesseract things into existence but yet can't talk to humans from which they evolved?

I'm not sure how I feel about it tbh, it was ok, as I said I didn't not enjoy it. But it could of been more? Seemed to go on and on at times with no real purpose. Did like the end though.
