As said before, congrats!! Very much deserved! :)

 

I'm so tempted to apply for a job there myself, but I just fear the big city thing would be too much for me to handle.

Same here plus it is too far for me to travel and commuting costs and all that stuff !!

I worked in London for a year with the TES, it was great but not sure I could handle it again only because of the commuting. In terms of working in London it was really awesome especially some of the food markets and Hummus Bros love that place.

I only went and got myself another job didn't i? :p

 

It's taken me over a week to believe that it's true and that i didn't imagine the whole thing. I'm still almost hesitant to tell anyone! I received my contract and paperwork Tuesday and resigned from my current role yesterday evening.....so i guess it's actually happening.

 

The job is at Imperial College *waves @srochford*, so i'm moving city too! Looking forward to actually caring about IT again, learning new things and playing with new toys!

 

A lot has changed for me over the past couple of weeks, and i've had some lovely geeks giving me a shove and a bit of encouragement when i need it (I almost think some were more nervous about my interview than i was! ;) ) and i luffs them for it. <3

 

Current mood: *snoopydance.gif* with a touch of ABSOLUTE TERROR!

 

Congratulations @Little-Miss. A fresh start in the city is well deserved. I am delighted for you :)
