What to spend £20 on?

It was my birthday yesterday and in one card I had a very nice pressie fo a crisp £20 note. Now, like most here who receive money this way it rarely get spent on anything tangible however, this year I'm going to make an effort. So, if you had £20, what would you spend it on (that is not, food, fuel, drink or groceries!)? You can be a few pound over btw

I got £20 vouchers in a card in Nov and bought a laundry basket that has seperate compartments for lights and darks. I considered it a valid purchase :-)

Sometimes paper ones that I find in second hand books shops and sometimes Kindle ones

I have a small collection of very old books that have taken my fancy. Victorian travel guides to places I know well are fascinating. I also have a Victorian bird book: If you can't identify a bird, you are advised to shoot it and take it to a museum for identification

We went out for a birthday meal last night and (taking the kids into account) went to what was a really good pub that did great pub food with local produce.

On arrival however it had turned into a gastro pub since our last visit with prices to match! The food was excellent though

I actually own one of these exact batteries. First one had a bit of a failure (it would only charge to halfway after a few uses) but the guys offered me a free one as compensation, so if you have any problems, leave them a 2-or-3* review mentioning your issues

 

Even at only half charge it was brilliant, though. Definitely a nice little pack if you find yourself needing power a lot.
