Bugs Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Hi All, I`m on the hunt for a toner supplier offering good quality re-manufactured Toners. I have had two different suppliers on the go both have promised that their toners are the best but both appear to have problems, one I have where at least 50% of the toners are leaving black marks, and the other i`m generally only getting 50% use out of the toner. I can send them back and get a replacement but, I seem to be sending more back than i`m using. So, can anyone recommend a good toner company Thanks
kmiller Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 I send out to several suppliers for quotes but nearly always end up with index-it.co.uk for compatibles it does not matter who you go to there will be some probs. it is the quick service in sorting it out that matters. Use originals for reliability and that is normally a price issue from any supplier.
jonnykewell1 Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 QC supplies look after us, always good customer service and fast dispatch.
Oaktech Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Futurform and their Xerox compatibles are the only thing we use.
DevilsAdvocate Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Been using Cheap Printer Ink Cartridges, Laser Toner & Inkjet Printer Cartridges here. None of our suppliers can get close to them and everything we've had has been here next day and worked a treat.
hallb15 Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 +1 for Cartridgesave Always good on price and service for HP toners and Epson ink. Not had a single problem with them - I can't testify for other brands as that's all I used from them.
rich_tech Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 we use CPLTD when we have to order them here, which is very rarely now with our managed solution.

FN-GM Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 We use these for compatibles - Kleen Strike (UK) Ltd | Great value on printers, toner cartridges and inkjets We have had no problems at all, they have a guarantee if a toner leaks or damages a printer they will pay for it to be cleaned and will repair the printer. If not a repair a new one.
detjo Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 We used IJT a while ago - what a nightmare! Never again!! As others have pointed out too
timbo343 Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 We use AMC Computers AMC Computer Supplies Limited which have never let us down. Any problems very quick to deal with issues. Having an issue with Plan IT though at the moment. Sometimes the grass isn't always greener but you need to try other suppliers to make sure the preferred company isn't ripping you off.
featured_spectre Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 @CPLTD do decent quality toners, didn't have an issue when I used them for schools 1
newpersn Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 QC Supplies here. +1 Did use ict direct. ... but they stopped. But qcs never let me down. Got a memory stick from them a few times....
DavidLong Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 I used to use a company called halcyon based in northampton before I changed job, they stock a number of makes of compatibles and re-mans, Adrian who I dealt with there always managed to beat the quotes I had from other companies and delivery was in one or 2 days normally.
jenking Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Cartridgesave....Never had a problem with there toner.
Cache Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Another thumbs up for AMC Computers, had fantastic service and great prices from them. 1

dean41 Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 We use AMC for most of our consumables including toner.
iForgot Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 For the last couple of years we've used a company called LaserLife, and they've never been anything short of fantastic with us. Delivery always spot on, and if I remember correctly we get a set number of free printer repairs (regardless of age) thrown in depending upon amount spent etc. iForgot
Bugs Posted February 17, 2014 Author Posted February 17, 2014 Thanks for all the suggestions, i`m more concerned with the quality of the toners to be honest, The last supplier I used 80% of the toners left ghost images in the prints, my current supplier I would say around half of the toners i`m only getting 50% or less usage from them, I am sending them back and getting replacements but it seems i`m spending half my life send toners back.
teejay Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Supplies for Schools are good, also Insight. Not that we buy many, nearly all managed now.
Hefferzzzz Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 (edited) No, just no. Edited September 4, 2014 by Hefferzzzz
Embroidery123 Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 We used IJT a while ago - what a nightmare! Never again!! As others have pointed out too Completely agree : These people are fine as long as you don't have a problem with what you buy from them. Forget Sales of Good Act as they have never heard of it!! Bought a tablet from them, it has had very very gentle home use only still kept in original box when not in use. After 8 months it suddenly has a hardware fault. Contacted them to arrange repair or replacement - got told that the manufacturers (ASUS) didn't offer any warranty as it was "Grade A refurbished" - a fact which was news to me as I was under the impression that I was buying brand new!! They said that their warranty period was 3 months and would not offer any redress whatsoever. I don't really know why I trusted them as have had bad experiences with them in the past with cartridges and toners. Steer well clear is my advice!
