Hi, We currently look after a site with just over 300 MFDs which don't self order toner. We have a bit of software that will interrogate the machine and email us when the toner is out. Most of the building have a central store where the staff will go and collect a toner from and install it themselves. At the moment we have a basic spreadsheet with the stores on and the quantity of toner in them. So my question is, is there anyway we can automate this with some sort of script so when an email comes through outlook will run a script to minus a toner from the toner store? Bit of a long i know. Cheers

Hi, In Prep for setting up 50 + new laptops we have created a new computer image as our old one was 3+ years old. I have captured the image, imported it into sccm, and updated the task sequence to point to that image. When i PXE boot it boots up into win PE splash screen then i get a message saying "preparing network connections" the PC then reboots into windows. I have read that it could be an issue with the boot image but im using the same one as last time and it has always worked fine in the past, plus when i put the original image back in it build fine. Anyone any ideas?? Im baffled Cheers

Hi all, Came in for exams results day and some of our computers are reporting to have lost trust relationship with the domain. Did the normal work around and removed it from the domain restarted, added it back to the domain. It's no longer reporting that it's lost the trust but that the username and password is wrong. Anyone any ideas? Cheers

It's on the NET 2 entry system which requires IPV6. Ie the the handset and intercom system. If your just going for the door controllers you should be fine on IPV4.

Hi, We are currently in the process of installing a Paxton Net2 system which i'm told requires IPv6 and wont work on IPv4. Thought it would just be as simple as enabling IPv6 on the HP core switch and and setting up a new DHCP scope. After doing this the units still dont want to talk to each other. Have i missed anything out when setting up IPv6?? Cheers

We have always used Janet for ours. They are normally fairly good.

We use AMC for most of our consumables including toner.

We use ManageEngine service desk. We went for the free version. Pretty much the same as the paid for version the only difference being is the free version is limited to 5 technicians.

18/32 for me. A few vodkas at the weekend should get this right down!

Hi Guys, We have just had impero installed at our school and it's fab. However we have noticed that it doesn't seem to be filtering/monitoring traffic from google chrome. Has anyone got any ideas on why this may be happening? Cheers

Can anyone help me please. I have setup Home access plus on its own server 2008 server. Install was fine but everytime i try to delete a mapped drive i get the following error message. The formatter threw an exception while trying to deserialize the message: There was an error while trying to deserialize parameter HAP.Web.API:drive. The InnerException message was 'There was an error deserializing the object of type System.String. The token ':' was expected but found ','.'. Please see InnerException for more details.
