3s-gtech Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 How? How? Really, how? How, in a sentence listing "instrumental dance", classical and jazz did you make "instrumental dance" the good option? Because I absolutely love trance! Also a big fan of many dance music bands like Faithless, Underworld, Chems, Leftfield, etc, so my recommendations would always come from that field

Earthling Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I think I'd go with some classical remixes like the DJ Tiesto dance mix of Adagio for Strings, or, not to be so pretentious, the Platoon OST. Along with some instrumental 'World' music. Lyrics is a tricky one. Some people will construe some meaning into anything. Basically, I'd plug my MP3 Player into it. Which would be cool until this or this but this would probably be ok. Don't know who'd 'skip to next track' when 'Teenage Dirtbag' came on, or 'Bilingual' but it would be fun watching everyone scramble for the button.
sonofsanta Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Copyright says no, but the Civ 4 intro song is a great one (no, seriously) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nb-jk6Ftx7o Sounds a bit ethnic and dramatic to make your SMT happy, is a geek song to keep you happy.

GeekyPete Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 "Always Look on the bright side of life". Followed by the Manic Street Preachers "If you tolerate this (then your children will be next)". And maybe Pink Floyd's "Birck in the wall" for good measure.

korifugi Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I'm only going to suggest one thing.... Rick Astley 1
FishCustard Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 The Silent Hill 1 theme is pretty cool, although perhaps not entirely appropriate (in-context that is - the theme itself is purely instrumental) There are also some awesome anime OSTs out there, and some equally great remixes. They also have the advantage of being rather obscure in the target demographic. I think if anyone recognised this one they'd deserve some sort of prize...
TwoZeroAlpha Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Two Steps From Hell, get them all nice and fired up ready for learning. Dragon Rider - short but cool Heart of Courage - a favourite from Rugby
