I have a very strict "No cool freebie, No scan" policy because I get sick of all the phonecalls/emails/junkmail afterwards...

 

You get round this by having two badges. One for your real school and job title with a title that sounds as important as possible for people you wish to speak to and one that is for a job title with no purchasing power whatsoever. Many stand freebies can be obtained without being zapped anyway :) On Saturday the stands are desperate to get rid of the freebies as they don't want to take them home.

I asked someone that was there yesterday to get me one (in case stocks ran out before Friday arvo when I get there) and she told me there weren't any left

 

They should have lots more really. I am going to get to Bett early on Saturday morning and see what i get.

 

Does anyone have any photos of the Travel mugs?

I'd like a travel mug if possible please put aside for me as we have to use them at school and so I can no longer use my edugeek mugs.

I have always not got scanned unless I really wanted the contact and most times I would contact them this year I get round this easily enough as I'm leaving next week and it won't be me fielding the calls or getting the emails, lol

I'm also going down on Saturday, I hope there will be some stuff left.

Not just cold pizza and already squeezed stress-bricks !! :shocked:

I'm going tomorrow but usually things are gone by the time I get there. Last year was a very disappointing haul. I'm determined to get more this year no matter what it takes. I have even put people who scanned me on my spam list in previous years just because the freebie was good but I didn't want the constant "Do you want our product or not" emails.

Edugeek has lanyards, badges, limited edition mugs and a raffle for a PC... and chocolate hobnobs ... all this and lunchtime pizza :)

 

What? There are mugs?!

 

Gutted not be able to go t BETT now :(
