Gongalong Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 I'm struggling to decide what phone (or even tablet) to get. Current options: - Note 3. Pros: size, Android. Cons: iTunes integration (I've tried Google Music, but it doesn't work with Smart playlists), rebuying apps e.g. TomTom, possible region lock issue. - iPhone 5S. Pros: easy with iTunes, AirPlay, no need to rebuy apps. Cons: iOS7. - Nexus 7 (2013 version). Pros: size, Android. Cons: obviously not a phone, so means carrying a phone as well. - Do nothing. Currently I have an iPhone 4S, but iOS is slow and buggy. Anyone want to pontificate about it? :-)

Otherwise I'd seriously consider a Galaxy S next time (so long as I can get 64Gb for the music). That said, I've no complaints with Apple other than price. Current phone is an iPhone 4S and it runs like a dream on IOS7. Infact I'm finding IOS7 faster and smoother than IOS6 was. Certainly not aware of any buggy problems.

Agreed, but I like the size of the Note. I'm waiting for more info on the Nexus 5 before I shop around, because the speculations seem great. Nice and stripped down it seems, but I like the sensors on the Note e.g. temperature, humidity, and barometer. Aside from the size. HTC Max? Not come across it, I'll go have a look... Quackers Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 I would go for another iPhone I went from a samsung galaxy S2 to an iPhone 5 and as customisable as android is, it's not as polished as iOS I just prefer using it. Deffo something wrong if it's slow and buggy on the 4S as people I know with the 4S love iOS 7 on it and don't say it's slow. 1

The slow part may be down to safari allowing lots of tabs to be opened and having other apps running. As soon as all of this is closed down then the rest runs smoother
