What is lowest in use spec workstation you have

As title says interested in what peoples lowest spec workstation you are running at your site?

Actively supported - HP DC5100's. 2.8Ghz Pentium4, most are Hyper-Threaded. Just been given 120Gb SSD's and 4Gb RAM to get them through the next year.

 

Still running - Elonex ProSentia 1000's. Celeron, 1 or 2Gb, used as thin clients.

Technically that would be the Atom-based netbook that the groundskeeper uses to check his email, but that's an exception.

 

Realistically our lowest spec machines are some bottom-of-the-range OptiPlex 360 machines that have Pentium Dual-Core E5200 processors with 2GB RAM and SATA HDs.

P4 GHz original RM Allinones, we have a handful of these in a classroom, to be dumped at the earliest opportunity. There is also a 1.8GHz P4 running in an office somewhere.

Got 3 or 4 Athlon 64 machines from 2006-07, all different models. Will go this year, apart from one in the server room which I just use to connect to switches and test things, works fine for what its needed for

 

Also got a 10 year old Fujitsu Celeron laptop driving an old plasma screen in one room. It's secondary to the Smartboard so no need for anything newer to drive it

HP D510's Celeron 1.7ghz, 512ram, 40gb hdd, XP running as thick clients. Pretty sturdy old pieces of kit, although PSU's are starting to fail.

HP DC7700s with 3Ghz or so P4s, 2Gb Ram and SATA HDDs think that is about the lowest now, they grindr along but for what they cost me at the time (about £140 from ICT Direct a few years ago now) they have done very well indeed They are being religated to info / TFT drivers such as the CCTV screen in the Site Managers office, general info screens etc.... as they run PPT fine once up and running

Snap there our classroom computers

 

Got some dells gx620 (and some stone computers) with pentiums d 2.8 1gb of ram. 80gb sata. These are offices or the odd few computers that are in thr back of classrooms.

 

Alot of the old conputers will get replaced during summer hoildays.

From June 2013, Core i3 Gen2, 4Gb RAM, 22" LED HD screen.

Replacing all our old P4 based desktops and std TFT screens has reduced our 'leccy consumption by 15Kw in the last 3 years.
