Last time I did this (2 years ago), I just used the APP server and profile manager. We got it to work quite effectively, mapped Drives, locked down the machine and user profiles. the only issue we ever came up against which we could never work out was Red Dots (it was always random and the only way we could fix it was to wipe it all and start again). however with how things have moved on, your better off going with an MDM Solution and having someone come in and do it. You can spend hours chasing your tail over something stupid that you didn't notice or because it has to be done in Apple's way!

This is one of the most difficult things to deal with, I had this happen 2 weeks before an OFSTED inspection, at first I just left one on a desk and taped the cables to the floor while we got a new mount, etc sorted out. The best thing is to try and put an interactive tv up, Short throws in my experience are more hassle than they are worth!

Office 365 Emails for staff who get married and change name?
LTurner3692 replied to kennysarmy's topic in Cloud Services
You should just do the changes in AD and let it all sync up, add the new email in as the default proxy address and it should all just work, ive done that a fair few times and never really had an issue. -
I'd leave them off.

I guess the bigger question is how needed are the services during that week?
-
dont be silly! £600 pretty much what i spend on machines! i normally get an I5, 8GB, 240SSD. There has to be a very good reason to need more than that. unless its only a few quid more at the time of purchase to buy better.

Rim of the world. It was alright, wouldn't go out of my way to watch it, but it did pass the time quite well.
