95% dont think about doing all that to get away with it!

Can we take a moment to remember all the decent single player games instead of all these mulitplayer ones!

Never charged students, we limited them to £5 a term, C/W heavy subjects like Art/Photography and Bussiness use to be allowed more when required. We use to charge departments for there use each month with a report sent to HOD's so they could keep an eye on it. We charged 10P a colour A4 page 5P B/W and 18P for A3. We always made enough to cover the printing costs for the year!

Which is why i would rather get the skills and use them before getting the cert!

This is where i am lucky, the company aren't to bothered about us having the cert, they would rather we can actually do the job and prove it instead of having a bit of paper that says we can. Dont get me wrong i will eventually get the certs and decide a route, but while i work here i plan to take advantage of the little perks i can pick up that will help me later down the line. I have seen and worked with people who have the certs who don't have a clue what they are doing, i dont want to be one of those!

As nice as it is to have a certificate is, it isn't something i care to much for, i would rather learn something useful and not get a cert than learn something pointless just to say oh look what i have! Ill take a look at the Google stuff today and see what i can find on it

Hello All, After starting a new job recently i have been given the chance to take some training next year (once projects are out the way). I'm unsure what root to take so my question is what training have people taken and actually found useful? I like the idea of CCNA eventually looking at network architecture but at the same time i wouldn't mind find some Server courses to do. TIA

But i never really found anything worth reading before i started playing! most of it came from trial and error! best advice i can i give is click on everything! literally everything! for all intents and purposes right click on it all to! see what it allows you to open up and do!

I have one Ep left! was very annoyed to find out that they havent decided if its continuing yet... (for the love of god i hope im wrong with that and season 2 is being filmed now!)

I would simply say that as it stands its not an option, as giving a student a laptop to take home for any period leaves you short on laptops for staff! if said teacher would like to do this it needs to go through the head etc!

dont use HCSS, always had problems with it! they take ages to fix problems too!

thats the difference, we would be lucky to even get one back! let alone undamaged!, when they started it there was 20 laptops, when i left that school it was 5! we tried to add things in to protect the students but the person in charge wanted it open! so we made sure that it was noted that we had nothing to do with it the second it left are office!

we use to have 5 spare laptops that came with a contractual agreement, only PP students could have them! (this was all agreed well before i started). The laptops were brought from the PP fund so it didnt cost the IT department a penny, we just made sure they were as safe as we could make them. However they are free to do what they like with the laptop during the time they have it.

Problem is that list never ends, once you think youv'e completed it, you start it again! you are always looking at ways to improve and make teachers life easier (and your own).

During a normal school day i never had to much to do, i ended up trying new things on a closed of network to test my skills. use to always have something to do in holidays! manily projector changes and things like that!

Nope, I found it easier just to wipe the device and start again! But we did make it clear that IF we found apps people shouldn't have then we will wi[e them wihtout notice!

I saw this! Thought it was pretty amazing for them to turn up! and for his family to find out just how many people he had touched in his life!
