Only time I've seen this when one phone had the DNS set to just 8.8.8.8 it wouldn't get transfers as the other had the local DNS server set. May not be relevant but worth a check?

Should this not be 255.255.252.0?

How do you find it for management/cost compared to other solutions? Do you use Unifi phones or other brand?

Would you have any guides or advice on the useage of Chromebooks. I'm starting the process with a primary school but it will students only at the moment. Due to budgets we are going to be using Chrome Flex OS on Windows machines to prolong the life before we change out for Chromebooks. Had pushbacks from staff but everything they have brought up can already be done in a Chrome browser. Students used Google Classroom during covid so seems familiar with the setup.

This could well be the issue. The two in the external building are being powered by a Unifi switch!

Having the same messages but no known issues for clients. We have just upgraded to U6 APs but have 2 UAP-AC-PRO in an external building that works fine. Our switches are old so thought that might have been related.

iPads and Jamf MDM best route you can go down in my opinion.

Under profiles go to lockscreen message and add %DEVICENAME%

Hi, So i've been through a few different MDM's and was skeptical when I first was introduced to Jamf, I was assured that I would love it and will never go back. Oh boy were they right! Honestly, I've not had any issues with Jamf. It's very easy to get to the grips with it, there is even a free course which goes through the basics which helped massively. (https://www.jamf.com/training/online-training/100/) It is used in quite a few schools I manage and forever trying to move new schools to Jamf from MDM's like Lightspeed and Meraki. Staff find it very easy to use once shown the ropes. If you are planning on using Apple Classroom, it just works! It's very responsive and quick to get updates, deploy apps and setup the MDM. Hope you make the right choice
