We had this, ESXI no longer supports SD cards either, had to put HDDs in and reinstall esxi on both hosts over the last year.

Point your folder redirection at an environment variable, as that will exist whether the OneDrive folder is there or not, then when OneDrive syncs and creates said folders it all just lines up.

Anyone had success with this dock? Everything works eg power delivery/usb/ethernet but no video, this is using a Probook 450 G7. Have done firmware, seems to be nothing but an audio driver for this dock. Any ideas?

You can do a GPO to edit the desktop.ini to fix this. Will dig it out later n post.

Meantime of failure on a SAN is plentiful and from past experience, it doesn’t concern me at all. I see a server having issues more often than a SAN honestly.

Over the last 3 years and many demos from various suppliers of S2D we were still not convinced it was mature enough yet in a 2 node setting, some suppliers interestingly refusing to support lower than 3 nodes… we went for HPE traditional server and san (but all flash) blown away with the speed and cost was half of the Dell S2D quote.

I have noticed CAU acts very strangely when user running it is part of the “Protected Users” group, if you are a part of it try dropping out when running CAU.

Do you have a Cisco edge by any chance?

We Use Gamma a-lot, works a treat. But can be pricey for certain mobile providers not included in the package eg Virgin Media and LycaMobile.

Have you ensured all the accounts not working don’t have any traces of .local set as upn suffix/email/proxy address?

You are correct, firewall rules only apply to there security gateways.. the new Gen2 pro switches can apparently do this too. ACLs aren’t possible AP end using UniFi. I would recommend doing this on core switch anyway.

We did split between UPS and Mains but have had way to many main spikes and even the high spec surge protector pdus didn’t protect and took the PSU out. I have even found because of the load balancing some PSUs do that the difference in voltage had fed back to the UPS and caused it to get upset. Dual UPS has always held us strong splitting the dual power supplies across them. This is all also splitting on different circuits too.

I have the various 8.0 versions for the MC1550, not sure if that also works for yours? To my knowledge fortinet can provide you with it but they’ll want you to take out a maintenance contract with them.

I have tried the above exactly and no success, a duplicate shortcut still remains on the desktop on first login even after some time. Works on 2nd login, but most of the time our students are signing in for the first time to there desktops, signing out and then onto the next machine for the first time as we run delprof etc.

Have tried the same, in my experience the GPO to delete the shortcut ran before the shortcut was created. Also tried the script way which seems unreliable and OneDrive still prompts that it couldn't merge the files, so its quite dirty. We have users that love the desktop lets say.

Hello, We are testing folder redirection to point at OneDrive over KFM so we can direct downloads etc too, we are facing an issue where the Teams Shortcut is duplicated when signing in for fresh on a new machine / new profile, has anyone experienced this? appreciate any suggestions thank you.
