  1. Actually it's not that hard to install pirated applications…
  2. Minecraft Education Edition? Minecraft: Education Edition - Home
  3. Haven't used it myself, But when i was looking previously, inVentry did seem popular.
  4. Teaching as soon as you walk in the door
  5. Check the bill for the Data Card?
  6. Slack, Hipchat
  7. And for people with any of the variety of different possible sight issues or colour blindness? I could include both sets of data points personally.
  8. From memory their support team has been pretty good in the past, have you tried contacting them?
  9. What Membership Management System are you using? Most have integrations for this type of thing
  10. No border please, it's such a "teacher" thing to do.
  11. EduGeek should start a museum with some of the objects that users locate.
  12. A local school has some documentation about their 1:1 program and pricing as to why they buy, most of it is around the buying power for discounts (and then is school owned and managed until full payments are made) https://fernygroveshs.eq.edu.au/Supportandresources/Studentresources/Pages/Laptop-Program.aspx
  13. Checked any firewalls on the server?
  14. djenie created the membership system for Scouts Queensland, which is quiet powerful and could probably do a customized solution to suit your organization. Dibbs is a smaller membership system for clubs, I'm not sure how customizable it is as I haven't been a end user on it. You probably won't find a pre-made package for what you want as most club organisations have their individual needs and wants which don't always translate to something that is marketable in a generalized environment.
  15. That is the plan in the future, Just wanted something temp in the mean time that would be easy for every.
  16. Does anyone have a recommendation for a alternative to ShowPoint that will rotate though and display all the power points in a folder and not just the last created/modified?
  17. I have local on both my laptop and mum's due to preference (Although we both do have MS accounts to use) - Me: Personal preference, I see no need to have a linked account just to use a laptop. (Already had the account from setting up my windows phone) - Mum: Doesn't want to have to enter a password just to use her laptop, The HP OOBE forces you to create or use a MS account, no ifs no buts about it (or at least that I could find).
  18. Access Database *runs*
  19. I havn't seen the admin side of it but we have a Avaya One-X system with the "executive" (iirc) handsets, It's easy to use from a end user point of view and haven't noticed any thing major from it. And there is a soft-console that can be used on the reception computer(/s) to make transferring even easier.
  20. Is there any specific reason you are wanting to do this? It can cause hassles in the future.
  21. Not tested my self but a idea, 4 drives (mapped locations): 1. & 2. Staff Common (Staff only) and Common (Staff & Students), Lock down the root directories so new ones can't be created by any old one, Create folders for each department/teaching area and other associated clubs/projects etc and let them go nuts in there 3. Multimedia, Top level folders by year, then maybe auto create a similar layout as above but not locked down 4. Archives, Whole drive read only, Move staff and common over at the end of year, so they can still view old stuff and move over as needed
  22. I would just get a export from your student management system if you can, and just bulk create new ones instead of trying to move them from the old server.
  23. Have a look at ShowPoint maybe?
  24. Is there any reason you went with colours, instead of say something logical?
