so out of x users only 2 have the issue. Iean delete the nickname cache not the mbx. How to reset the nickname and the automatic completion caches in Outlook If you have done this are you saying it only works once?
-
that is very strange, i cant reproduce the error. OAre you using olk 2010 riht, if yes, then the nick name cache is stored in the mbx, i would suggest to delete that from your account and test again. i assume no one else has that issue?
-
did you recreate a windows or outlook profile or both? once you remove from the from field, xan you then send an email every time?

That was the same in earlier version, I will have to check that out as expanding the DL is sending to individuals so that would be allowed, but there was a fix on the client side (outlook) which prevented the expansion of a DL. I will have to get this info.

So the mail flow is External>SWGfl>Exch it seems. If yes, then it would seem that delivery is successful because SWGfl has no issues. To narrow it down, up the logging on the receive connector which accepts email from SWGfl. As a test, if you're 100% sure that email is not being accepted, just check message tracking for a test email from ext>int

So you still got an issue from External>Internal? If yes, what NDR do you get when you send from hotmail to an internal recipient? Have you upped the logging in the receive connector?

Global Address list group with hidden members
sukh replied to Jambo_C's topic in Enterprise Software
Im sure there was a fix for that on the client side. Other than that you can try to remove the list members attribute. -
It gives you all the features that O365 doesnt and the flexability of some admin tasks.

I dont understand, if the crashed server had sp2 then why not just use that to recover....download from ms website.
