  1. If Exch is saying that the message has left then it's out of your control. Either it's been lost on the way by another MTA (your ISP's issue) of the receiving Org has received it & it's gone "missing"
  2. Just to catchup with this, you have ISA 2006 publishing AS & it only works for one user? If theres only one one exch server have you checked the iis logs?
  3. You know what I mean :-) Just in case the JackB70 doesn't - the Exch 2003 server where EAS is held.
  4. Disappear, you only have those tabs because on the old DC you had Exch on their too, i.e ESM If you have Win Xp, and you install ADUC, you wont see those tabs, install ESM and you will.
  5. Well, who did you speak to at the other end? When Exch initiates a connection it will "chat" with the other host and will either deliver or not. If it doesn't deliver, it wil give you a NDR, or if you haven't got one then it's in your queue. If you dont geth either, then it's left your Exch org. To verify this, use MT and check the events. Are they saying some emails are received and the email "where you requested a response" was not delieverd? If they want secure email, then it wont let you send, it will tell you.
  6. Do the ExchRCA, the IIS Logs should be on the CAS server. Got to IIS deafult website and check the location of the logs. Should be in the inetpub folder in %systemdrive%
  7. What does it say in the IIS logs on the Exch server, is it even reaching there, if not, then you need to focus on the ISA, check the logs there.
  8. I think you need to isolate the issue, so try and get EAS working on the LAN before working on External connections.
  9. 1. No, you are preping the schema not the DC. 2. Manage from the Exch server (Once it's on the dedicated server) Or RDP to the server. Even setup a Win Xp/Vista workstation with ESM on there. There aren't any ESM tools for server 2008.
  10. There's nothing you can do from the Outlook, if the message has been sent then it's a server side issue, if you don't have access to the server then you can't do much troubleshooting. It's down to the owner of postfix to look at the logs, there's many reason why it may not get delieverd, we will be just guessing...
  11. ABP will help you with this. Straiht firward & not over complicated.
  12. little confused on what u trying to do but read this first. Understanding Address Book Policies: Exchange 2010 Help
  13. Agree with Chris. If they sit in the folder then you can use MRM to delete those message by a RPT, assuming you using exch 2010.
  14. Why? Doest make sense. You can use ABP if needed to hide these DL from studetns.
  15. Sorry, no idea, most AS products are like next, next, next....
  16. does the message go to the sent items? Do you kniw whT version of exch? maybe check the headers via owa.... Does outlook show as connected to exch? Can u see free/bust for other users?
  17. Exchange 2003 isnt sulported on 2008 so I suspect you cant manage it using those tools.
  18. Found the out, not to worry.
  19. I know it's Friday, but hopefully it will take 2 mins :-)
  20. Hi Wondering if someone can check for me, if after applying Exch SP2, domain admins can now Send-As any user in the Org. I think SP2 may have changed this. Thanks Sukh
  21. Give this a go - How to set up an SMTP relay in Office 365
  22. Just to understand this, when you were sending to the DG, was it from an external recipient and was it from Google/Hotmail etc... For e.g [email protected] senda to a DG called [email protected] and this has a contact called [email protected] which failed. BUT what did the message appear as when [email protected] received the messaage? I assume as [email protected]?
  23. Install the native Exch console, EMC & EMS.
  24. what you trying to do? smtp relay?
