You still get a huge amount of control on the google system (sure MS is similar). The only difference is backup/restore, but seeing as our email in not "mission critical" I'm not too worried. If we lose it, it happens.

Usually anywhere between clean shaven and 2-3 days growth. Depends on how lazy I'm being and if I get nagged by the OH or not. Rarely goes beyond 3 days as it starts to get itchy and irritating.

I like gadgets and browse/read/learn about plenty. But I don't have the means to go buying this that and every other thing that comes on the market. I do have a PC and Laptop and netbook and PDA, but they are 3, 4, 1, 3 years old respectively and all serve various purposes, although PDA will go on next phone upgrade. With the summer coming all my disposable income is likely to be heading towards one of these Flexifoil Blurr to power my buggy. not that the missus thinks i need any more kit, might have to sell something.

Any teaching students get a domain login with teacher access levels but nothing else. They have their own email addresses which if needed I can add to the staff mailing list. Some get involved and really use the system some never even log in. It's a mixture really. As a side note, I helped one of our recent trainees with installing Linux (Mint) on a Dell laptop he'd got on eBay without and OS. He's now purchased windows 7 but wants to keep linux, so was emailing me today to ask for advice. I felt very proud. He'll be one of the good ones (and was a PE trainee of all things!!)

The pig farmer takes the £50 and heads off to pay his bill at the supplier of feed and fuel. The guy at the Farmer's Co-op takes the £50 and runs to pay his debt to the local prostitute, who has also been facing hard times and has had to offer her "services" on credit. The hooker rushes to the hotel and pays off her room bill with the hotel owner. The hotel proprietor then places the £50 back on the counter so the rich traveller will not suspect anything. At that moment the traveller comes down the stairs, picks up the £50 note, states that the rooms are not satisfactory, pockets the money, and leaves town. No one produced anything. No one earned anything. However, the whole town is now out of debt and now looks to the future with a lot more optimism.
