Evening Guys, I'm selling my Panasonic Lumix G2 DMC-G2K digital camera. It is the red body version and has been in my house for just over 14 months. It's a Micro Four Thirds camera and is in excellent condition. The standard camera comes with a Lumix G Vario 14-42mm lens. Information about the camera below: I also have a Panasonic Lumix 45-200mm zoom lens which currently retails for between £210 and £289. Information below also: I'll take £400 for the lot but will split for £250 (camera) and £150 (lens). No memory cards will be included. Camera is fully boxed and comes with the manual (there is a hole in the box where I used the barcode for something in the shop). The other lens comes in a cover. There is a also a cheap desktop tripod which will also be sent. PM me if you are interested. As I said this is the red body version which was difficult to get hold of when it was first released. It's always inspirational to read what others are doing in their quest for fitness or weight loss. I'm up and down at the moment - running is going well and I've now set myself the first organised run in March. I should (in theory) run it fine as it's half my running distance. I'm up to 10K at a push so 5K should be no bother. The weight is an issue. I'm not losing any. I'm fitter but am still over 14stone. No way I can run a marathon at that weight. Once the 5K Sport Relief is out of the way I will be upping to 10K runs twice a week. ready for the Swansea 10K races that take place in the summer. Now that the nights are getting lighter for longer, running after work is a joy. Gareth

Afternoon people, A bit late to the party here but what is the current opinion on live@edu? I'm coming to the conclusion that due to issues we have seen in the LEA over the past three weeks that moving certain services to the cloud is a good option. We currently have a centrally hosted Exchange 2007 service from the LEA. Staff and pupils have mailboxes which are set at 2Gb. When new people enter the school they are provisioned using AD Provisioning in SIMS - this sets up their AD account, their mailbox and their Moodle account. Some staff have large mailboxes. When we log into the centrally hosted Sharepoint Portal we are SSO'ed into the mail and Moodle. So the idea of moving email over to the cloud has reared it's head. live@edu seems like a good idea - but so does Google Mail (for Education?) - based on the current service which I have outlined above will live@edu do this for us? How integrated could I make it and how much would I have to ask the LEA to do? I'm not sure they will be happy or will help at this moment in time. From reading Edugeek today it all sounds great - but in theory what are the logistics like? Can I migrate current Exchange mailboxes? Can passwords be migrated? Does SSO work? Argh - so many questions. Look forward to reading the documents I've found so far and any replies on here, Gareth

Right - interesting, so instead of 2 x servers and a SAN what sort of hardware configurations would your recommend to someone like me who hasn't a clue but it building knowledge based on what others say? It would be nice if you could provide an example. See my previous post in this thread for what we are planning - how would you change it? Please throw it out there for us to evaluate. We are currently looking and costing the same as you @timbo343. We have decided on 2 hosts and a SAN and will be going towards Xen - plenty of advice on here for that. We are looking at the middle license which does cost money but adds some extra bits to the free version (we are still discussing this). In addition we are going to budget for a kick-ass UPS to power all of this. (Still researching). We are going to do this ourselves and with questions asked of Google and Edugeekers. We are not sure what to do - but have setup a little test network of two machines in a cluster to trial. We are currently running the trial and it seems to be okay. The main issue is we have no idea if we are doing this right. Are we wasting money? Are we going to be okay for the next few years? We are replacing 7 servers (hangover from RM days and 4DCs) and moving them onto two servers. We will be moving a printer server (pCounter), an SME server and a few other bits. We don't have a DC onsite - there are central DCs in the LEA - however due to the outage issues in Swansea LEA last week we feel that a DC on site would help. Can this be virtualised? I've heard/read on Google that DCs should not be virtualised, however as this isn't a 'main' DC I got the impression that it didn't matter. It's the one main DC that shouldn't be converted. What are the opinions on this? Many thanks Gareth

Good thanks @elsiegee40 - I went out for a 10K on Saturday morning. I don't drink that much any more. Had two bottles of Bud during the game. One in the first half and one in the second. Not drank much since October. Otherwise all going good. Have to purchase a new GPS tracker though because my phone is bust. Gareth

Dear Edugeekers, With the keep fit craze taken over my life I'm doing my first organised run next month for Sports Relief. Okay it's only 5K but last October I never thought I'd run that. I wonder if anyone has lying around still a spare BBC Master 128 to Microvitec Cub monitor cable. It's got the letters T.T.L next to it. I have attached a picture for people to see. Agree with you totally. If more of this was done then maybe the Gov wouldn't be moaning about falling standards. we are teaching our 19 month old son various bits and bobs. in both Welsh and English. He learns fast. The best thing I have taught him is that rugby is better than football. lolol. Gareth

No. Because I work as a teacher in Swansea, my wife works in another county amd my boy will go to school in Carmarthenshire. The WAG said they were trying to get LEAs to schedule holidays at the same time. Gareth

evening, Can someone help me with iCloud? We need one storage area but to be controlled by two different accounts. Am I right in thinking this cannot be done? We want to store photos so am I better getting a new iCloud account and both my wife and I using that one address instead of us having to use our seperate iTunes accounts? SeemsApple have not made this easy. Unless I've missed something. Gareth

i drive a Ford Kuga and love it. A colleage of mine has just bought a Ford FocusCMax which uses the same chasis as the Kuga yet it seems a bigger car. My wife drives a Fiesta. nippy. nice car. gareth
