Right where in some serious trouble here!!! Yesterday I came in at dinner time after been in a car crash to this: Full network down - Reason loop back BUT NOW *no access to my documents * no access to sims * cannot save *when opening my documents a list from AD comes down to them in folders of different year groups? when they click on them the pc crashes *No mapped drives.... This is me out of my confort zone.... ALOT any help would be great!

Me and my dad did mine (and he knows whats he's doing), a very long DIY task esp putting a velux in at around £1000-£2000.... is the boiler tank up there? because that would need moving also! there's alot you dont even think of that crops up and starts adding up! you'd be looking at around £5000 for a bog standard refit and I mine bog standard, 7000-10,000 on something good (if you know people in the trade i.e sparky, joiners)

Right click explore sometimes works.... Had this before re-formatted it, then did the recovery all worked but a bold move for you if its so important used un-delete if that helps. Sorry cant be of anymore help

for now i have stopped the DFSR service and deleated the whole lot of folders and started again, hopefully this will solve the problem but only time will tell. Thanks to everyone for there help...

Ive found the problem its the DFSRprivate\conflictanddelete folder in the route of the staff shared area.... ive deleted but gigs and gigs of cr** (130gb)just keeps pouring back in! any ideas how to stop this?

Running server 2003 on one of my file servers.... currently we have 0 space as soon as i create space i.e 20gig it goes.... been creating space now for 2 days and it goes within hours! Sometimes this space will then go up randomly say from 2mb to 3 gig? Any one have any ideas because at this current time no-one can save!!! and the end of lesson time is coming................

I've done something really stupid something only a t*****r would normally do!!! I've deleted the wrong user in exchange, well diasbled them now heres the problem... When i search for dis-connected mailboxs nothing shows? all the action settings in the server config are set up correctly (do not delete for 30 days, do not delete perm and all the rest) Does anyone have any ideas where the mailbox could be? and how to enable it? Thanks....
