do you how i would search all mailbox's? cannot see an option?

running server - 2003 exchange - 2007 A SLT member has sent an email out to all students - which really should not have gone to them!!! i mean really should not have gone out.... que the head ringing me at 23:15! We have blocked all the schools email accounts but need to delete this email thoughout the whole school! is there a way of doing this without me working all weekend logging into each user account and deleting each account? Thanks

Afternoon! (must say it feels like a friday ) I'm seeking to let staff access the full suite of software and linked drives including sims from home.... basically so they can log on from home and access the network.... Just wondering if there is firstly any 3rd party software out there that would do this? and if not how to go about finding out if on terminal services to do this? and if this would work? I do not want to let them RDP in for a number of reasons including static IPS etc... Any ideas of views would be great! Thanks

Well the school re-opened today (in 3ft of snow) so had to get there... Went to turn my car key would not turn!!!!! half an hour later of messing around the key turned, car started happy man... Just gone back to my car to check on it.... same problem only this time after 40mins of messing around no turn of the key? Any ideas? tryed turning the wheel (steering lock), WD40....

We have been with Capita now for a year, my Sims knowledge has decreased because every time we have a problem I pick the phone up and they remote to our sims server and fix the issue. Plain and simple. The engineer at the other end with talk you through things or remote and tell you ever step of the way whats going on. A few times ive left them working (had my dinner) and they'd phoned back to say everything is working! Sometimes abit slow to solve things i.e 1-2 days at the max. Ive got nothing but praise and if your Sims tech, manager is away its no biggy!

I use cartridge world and they pay us for the the cartridge's and provide us with bins to collect them in!

I asked myself the same question only last week.... did it anyway! not had any problems at all took about 2mins to do... Got winter board which allows you to theme ways apple does not allow for example 6 icons in the bottom task bar and can get tethering to your iphone app (so if you dont have a 3g version you can use your iphones 3G access) and also thrash which is flash on a ipad works on alot of sites and does not work on alot of sites! but better than no flash....

Thanks for all the help we are now back up and running... proxy server was at fault services were not starting on reboot! Quick and simple to fix when i knew what the problem was!!!!

I can get to the webiste externally and our exchange server externally but no internet on the PC's... Everyone can send emails internally and externally and log into moodle from home ect but within the school there is no internet!!! I will try ping bbc, google in the morning just putting a plan of action together at the moment!

hi everyone long time since last post hope everyone is well... Well here goes on my problem! We had a power cut on friday afternoon after I had left so I went in on saturday to boot everything up. Everything worked sent an email to the outside world checked the website (hosted internally) all worked on my work PC and Ipad on 3g. BUT... we do not have any internet connection on any of the PC's logged in as staff, students, admin NOTHING??? "page cannot be displayed" I have rebooted our proxy server again and all switches... Any ideas? (running 2 DC's server 2003, proxy server, 2 file servers, sim server ect) Thanks from an IT manager due into work at 0500 tomorrow to fix the issue!

Everything WAS done............. First day back! 2 projectors die... we checked them on friday! 3 printers die... we checked them friday science shared area GONE... back ups are currupt years of work looking like its gone (currently running undelete) 10 monitors to install by 12 countless staff members forgotten there passwords countless students forgotten there passwords oh and my techs are ill.... im home alone and the head of maths wants a projector setting up in the hall!!!!

He was very clear that if the kids could stick there hands inside the pc (which they can) they could get a shock so it's a fail! Anyone for 100% know any different? Because in the last week we have had over 150 face plates go missing!? So could not get him a delivery so he failed 150 pcs it's clear I won't use him again... If the head agrees! but now says he'll charge to come back and pass! And he is not cheap! Spoke to dell and they want to charge £3 per plate that's ALOT would use a sheet of plastic and stick them over but we may be putting cd drives and tricky to just cover floppy drive on these models! Any got anything to fightthe guy back with? Or know anywhere to get the plates? Did think of taking the plates out of the passed ones but he's a clever tester lol

Well the pac tester is in and is failing every machine with a face plate missing!!!! he will only pass them if i get an order raised and a del date today! and had planned on going home now as its the Holiday! Anyone know where to buy Dell 755 cd and floppy face plates? or if anyone on here can get me a quote? Cheers

Thanks for all the responses.... Here is how it was solved! I once again turned everything off and back on again... all worked!!! clearly told the Head another story! Real funny one thou, because I found the loop back yesterday after turning everything off, but when it all rebooted still nothing really worked! but the 2nd reboot everything worked!
