i have a splitter from my graphics card one side of it going to the HP monitor with a dvi connection on it so straight in, the other side goes into a dvi to vga converter then into the monitor. Nvida and windows detects the monitor but i cannot get any output on it, the monitor is not broken ive tested that ect Running the latest version of the software and everything!

afternoon everyone, have installed another screen on my pc... the computer knows its there..... and i can move my mouse over to the other screen just nothing on the screen its blank! im using a vga to dvi connector (on the screen that will not work) into the geforce 8400gs graphics card on a hp dc5800! the monitor is a hp L1908w widescreen any help would be great!

Here's a dinner time one for you guys! I have a hp dc5800, putting in a Geforce 8400 gs graphics card in, but want to run dual screens with a 21" HP L1908w (only has vga) and a HP L1950 (vga and DVI), the graphics card only has a DVI input... got all the cables to hook this up to as well as a vga male to DVI female adapter.... meaning hooking up my vga only monitor to this adapter so it outputs DVI.... will this work? ive tested it at work and get a blank screen on the vga only input! If not how can i get around this......

hi guys! right having had/having a right problem today! we are looking into server 2008! so i have installed virtual pc, then a virtual XP client then a vista Client and finally server 2008.... mite be dumb here but how can i add them to the domain on server 2008? everytime i try comes up with domain not reachable? domain is set up correctly has a ip address has dhcp set up? is there anything extra i can do? Cheers guys! Rich
