I picked up a Zafira just over a year ago for £600 great car for getting me back and forth to work and doubles up as a van when needed.

At BETT a couple of years ago Lapcabby were promoting a sync and charge ipad trolley that had a USB hub in it, they said at the time that you would be able to buy the hub separately, So we immediately thought that we could retrofit it to our existing trolley, 2 years later we are still waiting for it to be available. I guess they changed their mind when they realised people would just buy the hub instead of buying a whole new trolley.

Last game bought: Assetto Corsa Last game completed: Crackdown - looking forward to the new version coming so I thought I'd play the original, it still holds up pretty well and them damn Agility orbs are addictive.

Steam summer sale starts on the 11th I'm sure 3 and NV will be in the sale to be picked up cheap as chips

I've toyed with the idea as hassle free motoring does sound very appealing but I do around a 100 mile round trip to work and back and when you get above 10,000 miles a year the price goes up quite a bit.

That quick corner utility on the Epson projectors is so handy, I don't know why more manufacturers don't do the same.

Isn't HDMI getting phased out in favour of Displayport though? I know on the GTX 970 I just bought it has 3 Displayport interfaces and only one HDMI

I've heard a lot of good things about the Philips Hue lightbulbs, you can control them all from a tablet and there are some pretty cool effects you can do with them thanks to user created light sets. I'm probably going to go with them and get a Nest to control the heating but I've got a million and one other things I need before I can start of stuff like that.

I'm using Windows 10 preview as my only OS on my home PC, am I going to have to reinstall Windows 7 just to upgrade to the final release of 10?

Myself and the mrs watched Chappie last night, I wasn't holding out much hope for it keeping her hooked but it surprised us both with how good it was, it had a few dodgy sounding South African accents from actors that clearly weren't for South Africa and it shared a lot of the plot from RoboCop as well as the RoboCop voice but all in all well worth a watch.

A school I supported bought Benq interactive displays and a few of them developed faults with the I/R receiver, basically stopping most functions from working, the company that installed them sorted it all out with Benq but it must have cost them a fortune as they were 300 miles away and had to stop over in a hotel every time they visited.

Just thought I'd share a little solution to a problem I found when trying to join some windows 10 Tech preview Build 10074 computers to our domain. When joining to the domain it would come up with an error saying it couldn't contact the domain and wanted me to check my DNS setting, I checked the setting and it was picking up the correct DNS from our DHCP server, I tried setting it manually and still nothing, it wasn't until I rebooted after changing the local machine's DNS settings that it would then let me join the domain. Once it's rebooted and you've joined it to the domain, you can then set the DNS settings back to auto and it carries on working as normal.

I must say I've been really impresses with our Smart E70 interactive panels, only problem i've found is they can get quite erratic when the sensor bars around the frame get dusty but that's an issue with our cleaners rather than the boards.

Also there is a handy GP setting to make the laptop wait until is has a connection to the server before letting a user log on, that way you can stop laptops getting logged on with cached profiles. https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/gg486839.aspx
