Sounds like you and I got the same BSF deal BKGarry, I'm in the same boat with Cisco Catalyst 3560 switches as my backbone switches linked via OM2 with gigabit switches for wireless and other devices. In an ideal world I'd like to swap them all out for a 10Gb backbone but it's something I've put in the budget forecast for the past 2 years and never been given the funding to do it.

That's the face of a evil mastermind if ever I saw one, definitely screams hardened criminal.

Just a quick note, the reason I upgraded to the Unifi AP's was because of this issue as it also happened on my old Netgear WNDAP350 and 360's, I'd get 10/15 laptops connected in a classroom and the rest would fail to get an IP I'd then disable and re-enable the wifi on one that wasn't working which would then get it back onto the network but it would then push one that was working off. I assumed that it was because the Netgear system was almost 10 years old at this point that it was the issue as the laptops were only a year or so old core i3's but after spending £3k on new AP's I can safely say it's an issue with the Intel N 7260 cards. I have no idea why the upgrade to Windows 10 solved the problem, I can only assume there is a difference in the drivers but every driver I tried on Windows 7 had the same problem.

ah ok my bad, I've just been checking the NOW TV support side every once in a while and all the threads I've seen say LG and Sony, never saw anything about Samsung

If you want the NOW TV app on the Smart TV you are limited to LG and Some Sony TVs Now TV seem to be under some sort of agreement with them as they won't release the App for other vendors, I have a Philips Android smart TV and I love it apart from having to have the Now TV box and remote hanging about. I did try side loading the normal Android Now TV app but its clunky and the usability isn't really there, it's a shame because the Android OS works so well with smart TVs.

My go to suppliers these days are Storm Technologies, BT Business direct and Higate, Storm normally comes up with the best pricing.

I've just set up Chrome so it resets back to default and loads the GPO settings every time it is closed, that way people can log in to it and as soon as the browser is closed it's reset. I had this exact same problem with the same N 7260 Wireless card and UAP Pro AP's I tried absolutely everything I could think of but nothing worked, in the end the issue disappeared when I upgraded the laptops to windows 10.

it could be that it is mapped on another computer and the box to add it to the directory was ticked when it was configured.

A teacher just brought a problem to my attention, it doesn't seem to be letting us download PDF's Does anyone have Purple mash that can test it at their end for me so I can see if it's a problem just here or globally? If you're logged in to the Purple Mash website and search "festive" there should be a Participation certificate PDF, can you check if that opens for you? I've tried it in Chrome and Edge both just go back to the home screen when I click it or any other PDF

lol my Mrs runs and hides as soon as the round starts, I don't think she even has a single kill and she's never been booted, honestly if you play the same way as you play the campaign you'd be fine.

I'd given up on PvP too after The Division left me shouting and swearing at the screen but I have to say the PvP in Wildlands is nothing like that, both teams are working on a strategy to try and take out all the other team from distance without being detected so in that respect it's a lot like the co-op mode except the other team are a lot harder to spot, a single round can last 15 minutes which is a long time considering each player only has one life unless a teammate can revive them without getting themselves shot.

It's so much more fun playing with other people instead of the AI and that inevitable moment when someone misses their shot and the second or 2 of panic wondering if the alarm is going to go off or if they manage make good on a follow up shot, I've been playing the 4v4 PvP mode a lot recently with my mrs and a mate of mine so if you fancy playing add me on xbox (same username as on here)

that was with the HTI, that wasn't in a combat situation, that was me going out intentionally to get a 1km shot, you have to get in position where you can see their markers (around 500m from memory) and then stay scoped in on the target while walking backwards to the distance then aim way above their head and hope they don't move in the 2 seconds or so it takes for the bullet to arrive. Took me a couple of hours to get it and the Salt flats are your friend here.

it's so satisfying getting a kill at distance in that game, I was quite proud of the moment I pulled this off, don't think it was a head shot but still.

I really want to believe that all of these flat earth "believers" are all just on a massive Troll/Wind up, how anyone can believe that the earth is flat is beyond me, they are probably the same people that think that not vaccinating their kids is a good thing.

Solution would be make sure the UPS is up off the floor or rack mount it.

I would say 100% Co2, water could put the fire out but at the cost of all the equipment in there and there's also the possibility that it won't even put the fire out, 18 months or so ago we had a flood after a hot water boiler failed in the plant room above, water poured over the network cab that contains 3 servers, 5 or so switches and all of our telephone equipment, we ended up with 2/3" of water on the floor of the server room and surrounding corridors but none of the equipment was damaged because the cabinet diverted the water around the sides of the contents of the cabinet. Handheld extinguishers are all well and good as long as there is someone there to use it, don't forget someone will be at the school only 40-50% of the day the rest of the time the servers are running with no one in the building.
