What command did you use to add someone to all classes? I have my csv of course details so I imagine I'll be referencing a list of Course ids somehow?

Yeah teachers can see the enable/disable guardian summaries in their class settings, however I'm after a big admin switch that turns them on for everyone. The ability to invite guardians is there, and that's successful, however the summaries themselves seem to be a manual change and that's annoying.

We've only very recently set ours up, so it may be a recent change for them to be off by default? Just wondering if there's an admin or GAM trick to get them on instead of hoping every teacher does it.

Nope, not for us anyway. Had some enquiries as emails wern't being received by parents and found out the option in class settings wasn't enabled. The only admin option I can see concerns the actual invite and removal of guardians, nothing for toggling the summaries to be created.

Hi all, So we want Guardian summaries activated. I have attached guardian emails to the pupils and that has all worked however it seems Teachers have to manually switch on Summaries in their Classes for this to work. Is there anything I can do as Administrator to switch all summaries on? or will I have to get every Teacher to go into every class and turn them on? Thanks

Not completely foolproof but maybe enough with numbers low in School. Is it worth allowing Vimeo through the filter however ban the word "Vimeo" from tab names in Impero. So they can still use the built in videos on Oak Academy but they will get their window closed if they go to Vimeo itself?

Quick question... when these laptops are given out, if one breaks due to misuse then is there any liability? Are these laptops expected back at any point to send back to Government? or is it up to the family to look after it and if it breaks, that's it?

Are there new ADMX files? I see Cortana has been removed so I imagine it'll need new GPO settings?

I've been looking at Server courses lately however I'm confused by what Microsoft are now offering as they are retiring MCSA etc and they seem to have no plans to do any Server 2019 certification!

I knew this would be a PR stunt. I thought this is going to cost so much money, there's no way it'll go ahead. Low and behold the article has been changed a few times over the last few days to broaden expectations. I fully expect Schools to be back before this scheme becomes live. Maybe the rumour of May 11th is true!

I've installed GAM and I'm looking into it now. Should you be able to do stuff with courses, like add students, if the course name has a space in it. For example GAM TEST .

I was looking at going down this route but annoyingly when I tried recording in Powerpoint it says there's an error and stops.

I get PDQ to do a lot of the heavy lifting. It all worked perfectly fine last Summer however this year its getting stuck on updates. Well it was. I've done the uninstall/reboot/reinstall and it's all fine now. One tip, for the proxy I entered the details in the Secure Client when asked on one machine, then I copied the proxy written to the Secure Client directory to other machines via PDQ, it was then happy. I think it converts the proxy password to hex or similar.

Yeah I'm having the same issue, then randomly some workstations will start it and some others don't. Now doing another full uninstall/reboot/re-install to see if that solves it.

Yep, the last CU lists this as a bug they fixed. Happened to one of our users and it was fine again after the update.

Haha I didn't realise that option was there. Excellent... going to have to look into this tomorrow.
