ITGuyNW replied to Marcs_Dad's topic in Educational Software
I'm fed up of the AD sync failing every year for matching up the new year 7s in MLS so I've done it manually this time. -

Yeah the scene is legit, you can find it easily on Twitter. Oh well. The entire of Ecclestones first ep leaked a week before it was on TV so not quite as bad as that.

Mixcraft works very well on our network, copes with roaming profiles without any bother but I did have to install it individually. There are some instructions that came with it for network installs but whenever I deployed it, it simply never installed.

Yeah the docker thing is horrendous. I've kept it on an earlier version with a web server.
-
Yeah it installs to their profile so we have it as part of our redirected desktop and have a shortcut to the web version as a backup.

[1703, cu] Successfully deploying Start Menus in Windows 10 v1703
ITGuyNW replied to sparkeh's topic in Windows 10
Quick question... If you roll everything out, perfect start menu etc but then a few days later you deploy an app and you need to add the shortcut of that app to your new perfect start menu, how do you do that quickly and easily? Do you have to go back to your test image, recreate your start menu and deploy it out? Is there an easier way? -

Sounds about right! My initial ticket was 4th September and up to a couple of days ago I had heard nothing. My issue still persists and all quiet again..

What do you keep up-to-date with PDQ Deploy?
ITGuyNW replied to Paid_Peanuts's topic in Enterprise Software
Same here. -
I'm still waiting for an update from the 5th September. We can't do an AD Sync as the html5 plugin doesn't work properly and they've removed the option to switch management back to Silverlight.
