We had a demo of RISO before Christmas. If you want fast bulk prints and not bothered about quality, its fine. When we were looking at contracts, we were going to have a cheap, high quality colour printer to go with it.

We're getting A3 in September however I assume the incoming Intune licences are all per user whereas we only have 30-40 shared ipads that currently just speak to Meraki on a per device basis. That's not going to change so Intune from that perspective probably won't work for us, unless there's another way? Meraki seems to be approx £22 per device a year, so approx £700-£800 to manage them. Is that really that bad? £1.80 a month?

Civica are great. Our finance department upgraded the software for some reason, its brought no operational benefit. As part of the quote they included an i3 PC to act as the server. £900.

We use an account for our printers to use scan to email and also Teams phone have their own accounts. How do I exclude that from MFA if I don't have A3/P1 etc?

Hi all Currently have an ancient print server on a physical host that I need to get from 2012 to 2022. Is there any justification for it to be its own physical server? or will a VM do? I'd like it to be a VM as then I can remove another server from site.

I've binned off the desktop shortcut and tell them to either use the start menu and when they next use the app, pin it to their taskbar (we have 1:1 devices here for staff)

Anywhere know where I can buy Veeam licences without waiting days on end for someone to get back to me?

Just revisiting this, what about actual files on a fileserver? For example, Year 11 student just left still has all their school work on the network such as one slide powerpoints and random jpegs.

Hi all Spending a bit of time reviewing backups and wondering the step forward. Currently we backup to System Center, a fileserver in another building, Wasabi and a Synology NAS drive. It's all very manual and a bit all over the place, so I am wanting a one stop shop really that backups one to many. First thought is Veeam and just have multiple jobs however when I had a recent issue, the backup restore failed! So my faith has been hampered somewhat.. Can anyone recommend a nice streamlined service that will do this?

Our OVS runs out in September. I'm planning to go A3 EES then. All indications are you'd have to honour the agreement first. Could you do any CSP stuff to bridge the gap?
