It will only find accounts with email because we are telling it to search on the mail attribute in AD. I added my google apps mailbox domain to the email field of all users in AD %username%@domainname.com

I think you can do this with the AD migration tool. I've not done it, only read it somewhere. It may only work when migrating domains though (hence the name i suppose) :/

This, in my experience is the difference between having someone full time and someone coming in for a few hours a week. Teachers are generally too busy with teaching to worry about driving IT forward and to be honest a lot of teachers don't know whats out there or how to implement something they have seen. The other side of this is as techs sometimes you can see a great product or idea but be unsure as to how to get staff behind it and actually bring a value to teaching other than just another piece of technology that is under utilized

Using powerpoint in presenter mode does this. I have turned it off via GPO

so, turned off Secure boot, created a bootable USB with UEFI only support using Rufus and a windows 10 ISO, created a discover image in WDS exported it, then copied it on to the memory stick to the sources directory, renamed it to boot.wim and away it went!

Hi, Does anyone know how to PXE boot StoneNB-1210 - I've tried using startech usb to Lan which supports PXE but there doesn't appear to be an option in the bios to enable PXE. am I looking at creating a PXE environment on a usb stick and doing it that way? Thanks

Doh, I was signing in to Google not the Chrome browser....

Hi Guys, I'm trying to automatically add the hangouts extension to all users who use the chrome browser on Windows based PC's I've added the extension under the forced extensions in the GAFE console but when the user signs in to Chrome browser the extension isn't added. Is this a windows permissions issue?? or have I missed a trick? Thanks

Windows 10 1607 clients are checking in and puling updates from the WSUS server but when you load the updates page on the client its not saying "some settings are managed by your administrator" in RSOP the settings have applied. Any ideas?

yeh what bugs me is stuff like...... easy passwords, if you're going on the show, you know they will be looking at your devices and emails. i know, i know its all staged but I still find myself shouting at the TV and getting wound up!
