Yep...............Can't believe how silly some people are on it though! It's the second series and people still use simple email passwords etc....I wonder how much is staged though!!
-
ok, I think mine might be image related or something.. If I do an initial a check via internet it then seems to contact the WSUS server on the next round and work correctly......
-
If I browse to the site from Chrome it works fine, just IE11 thats not working.
-
If I browse to http://servername-01:8530/SimpleAuthWebService/SimpleAuth.asmx from the WSUS server that page displays correctly If I browse from a client I get this: Any got any ideas?

@Sheridan just found this on experts exchange "Your clientdiag error hr=0x80070002 is because it doesnt run on 64 bit systems, clientdiag is 32 bit only"
-
I get the same 0x80070002 message, mine only seems to be affecting newly built workstations or workstations that have been off the network for a while, existing workstations are checking in normally. Mine is running on a server 2012 r2 box
-
@Sheridan, not the news I was hoping for....... wouldn't this indicate a client issue? Could it be the version of the Windows Update Agent on the clients?
-
I've noticed a similar thing and tried much the same as you.... My console is still loading but I am having problems getting clients to report in.

Can you IDRAC on to it?

Can't connect to network shares and Group Policy not appying

Have you removed it from the domain, deleted the account from AD then re-joined? to be honest I spend 20 mins on something now, if its only affecting one device its not worth my time trying to diagnose it, I just rebuild it. I know what you mean about the satisfaction though -

Ok, can you try accessing the shares using the FQDN? I've had a wierd issue where the offline files cache becomes corrupted and it stops access to shares. -

Can I ask why you have moved it to the netlogon folder? I wouldn't have thought this is best practice. I have always had them on a share. -
screenly is ok.

I moved from Sky to EE - so same infrastructure on my Estate etc - my download speeds now vary wildy as do my upload. Sky were always pretty consistent. I do photography and upload a lot of files for clients etc, with Sky it was slow but consistent, with EE it's slow and bombs out alot. Would never go near EE again. :/

Hi Guys, I've just taken delivery of some new Fujitsu's first one i've unboxed and installed a default image via WDS PXE boot Everything is ok in IPConfig I can ping servers by IP and name Tried Static IP Tried different ports Everything Else on network is working ok I just cant access the internet from this machine. Weird thing is in DHCP the unique ID is 000000000 I'm thinking its a driver issue or dodgy onboard NIC. Any thoughts? Thanks

Can you not change the label in the registry? A quick Google search returned this: Start a registry editor (e.g., regedit.exe). Navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer registry subkey. From the Edit menu, select New, Key, then enter the name DriveIcons. Select the new key; from the Edit menu, select New, Key; then enter the drive name (e.g., B). Select the created key; from the Edit menu, select New, Key; then enter the name DefaultLabel. Navigate to DefaultLabel, then double-click the (default) value. Enter the text you want to appear for the drive, then click OK. Close the registry editor.
