I seem to remember reading somewhere that the apple bonjour service can cause issues like this....if the network doesn't start before it does it gives a random address and gateway? sometimes the default gateway is set to 0.0.0.0 too

When you export it does it not sort it out then?

Nikon d3300 would probably suffice or even the 3200 if you can get hold of them.

Not sure if this applies to anyone viewing/commenting on this thread but LGFL won't support SIP trunks on any 3rd party system. They will only support SIP's if you get your solution through them.

Where did you get the list of IP's from? I looked at the article in the link and couldn't see them.

If you use a passive or active (I'm not sure which, my brain isn't working today) USB cable this fixes the issue too.

I've seen Cisco switches disable ports due to excessive packet loss or jabber - we had a remote building connected by laser link and when it snowed or rained heavily the switches would disable the problem ports.

I've seen something similar when the resolution is not at the "recommended"settings? only happened on certain videos

@aleach2 Thank you!! All taken at Deal in Kent with a Nikon D610, Nikon 24-70 f2.8 and Tiffen Variable ND filter and Tripod. The boat was without the Tripod and Variable ND. Tweaked in Lightroom CC. It was really windy under the pier, struggled to stop my camera blowing over on the tripod.

I'd been having slow backup speeds so I created a new folder on my destination server and pointed the backups to there (Same device, disks etc just different folder) backup speed has jumped from 35mb/min to 433mb/min - job completed in 90 mins as opposed to 12 hours. Fragmentation sucks

I would always have a 4 cylinder diesel over a 3 cylinder petrol if I was concerned about fuel economy. Especially with lots of motorway driving. When I was selling cars we used to do a 3 cylinder "Blue" diesel and a 4 cylinder diesel - it turned out in the real world the 4 cylinder was better on fuel, plus it didn't sound like a bag of spanners! oh and you didn't have to wait 6 months for it!!

Have you seen a gradual slow down over time? It could be disk fragmentation on the destination drives.

Ah Ranger!! I'm not that familiar with it to be honest, I used to look after a school than had Ranger but we had issues similar to you - because no one was that familiar with it we rebuilt the domain with a vanilla Server 2012 R2 setup. Does the school have Support Contract with Ranger? It may be worth giving them a bell. The folder redirection could be set in any GPO on the system it might be worth checking them all. Have you run RSOP or GPResult on the affected users? it might point you in the right direction. Slow logons can be caused by a number of issues - DNS for example or trying to map a drive that no longer exists, there could be a logon script causing the issue. Have you tried creating a brand new user with no folder redirection, drive maps or logon scripts? If this user logs in quickly then gradually introduce the mapped drives and folder redirection etc. Hopefully there are some pointers here for you.
