Hi Guys, I have been asked about setting up Python and Greenfoot programming environments. I have very limited knowledge about this but I know there are issues regarding security. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to securely set it up and if you have a step-by-step guide it would be much appreciated! Thanks, Alex

There is no apple software on the computer. I have found that, like Casey, it has manually assigned itself a 169. address. I have tried to insert a static one but it has not worked. Having said that, I had left the DNS section blank! could this be why this method has not worked?

Thanks for the replies. I have tried resetting, ensuring the drivers are updated. I am not sure why it has happened. Been trying to find some solutions online. Will try to release and renew the ipconfig to see if that helps, failing that I will try assigning a static one and then reverting back to DHCP. Fingers crossed!

Hi All, One of my computers has (I think) crashed over the weekend when it was left on. Instead of finding our domain work network, it finds an unidentified network with no internet access (the image displayed in network and sharing center is a public network) Does anybody have any ideas how to fix this?
