we've had a bit of progress for this too. We've confirmed our cluster is 100% healthy (many many different people have confirmed this now) Our clusters internal switch had lost its configuration in a power cut. Not an issue in itself, except it had also had a cable plugged in to our core switch, so it was picking up another vlan and thrashing itself with traffic. we re uploaded its configuration and avoided the loss of connectivity today. we're now going over all our switches with a fine tooth comb for configuration faults

picked up all the doom games, the new doom + doom3 bfg edition for <£30 i think otherwise theres been so many steam sales i think i own every game i want anyway except for Half-Life 3... get it together valve XD

no - we're in windows 7 like the original poster, and its effecting more than just machines with intel graphics

did any of those work for you or you find an alternative solution? We already have the same settings applied. Its working in compatibility mode but ideally we'd like it working on html5

Got a bit of a wierd one here. on friday youtube, and all html5 websites, stopped playing videos in IE11. revert them to flash and they work. but only for staff. Students are fine, as are admins. the little adverts along the bottom pop up. you can navigate the timeline of the video (and the little preview images appear) but the video just sits there buffering The videos will work in chrome. has anyone encountered this befor or know of a fix?

Stumbles on a new way our students our getting around our proxy to access youtube: MP3Juices - Free MP3 Downloads Now I'm loathe to just block this website, as a quick google has thousands of results for websites with a similar enough name that it'd be like playing whack a mole. Now we've noticed the all run on yt-downloader.com to get around it. Is it possible to block that? we've tried but so far its not really stuck. youtube is blocked for the students anyway so we're not fussed about breaking that.

I had the acer too but found it the exact opposite of useful. The only thing I really used it for was doing the inventory (i really hated the bluetooth scanner) I'm not sure how the surface pro would make my job easier tbh. I've got 2 big(ish) monitors and a decent cpu and ram for vm's.

I dunno, maybee i'm used to staying on top of whats on my devices. I can't imagine needing more than 16gb on a phone. my iphone has 8gb free loaded with all my current music from spotify and all my apps.

tbh i just moved the other way, android to iphone, and the difference in quality is immense. Google really need to get a hang on manufacturers and networks actually getting security updates out in good time, and ensuring phones are supported for a decent leangth of time. Even apple don't abandon updates for year old phones like samsung and HTC seemed to be doing

I've never had a problem with 16gb of storage on my phone. I'd be more miffed if they didn't have a 16gb option and i had to pay more to have storage i don't use. Just got my iphone 6 though so doubt i'll be changing till a 7s/8/when the battery finally dies. I just hope the don't kill off the 3,5mm audio port. I know doing so makes sense in some ways, but far to much of my kit will need replacing, including my in car stereo I'd also rather have a bigger battery than a smaller phone. my iphone 6 is sat in a bulky battery case, and feels more solid and more comfy in my hand

A lot of our maths and science departments it seem love to use some free java based websites. Some haven't been updated since I was still in school. There were even one or 2 that had been coded in the 90's, some physics refraction demo's I think. The java update that forced higher security permissions broke them at first, then java 8 seemed to kill them off completely. Just had wordle go down, equation buster is another favorite that dies everytime we update java Science heavily use boardworks which is all flash based (but not browser based) There's no way we'd get away with killing off java or flash anytime soon. If we did we'd have to pay to replace the software. If we continue to install flash and java and they naturally become incompatible then its up to the department to replace it.

I have no use for a zafira vxr. but part of me really wants one to replace my focus ST. same engine a the astra, remap for a good 300hp. troll away XD

My money s on them not, and us either having to support outdated software, or constant arguments with teachers as their software stops working. Its already happening with some of the old java websites that aren't being updated. Apparently when they stop working its somehow our fault >.>

we used some small form factor gtx 750's that were pretty awesome, in small form factor dell 7010's. Though we use standard intel 2000/2500 graphics for most of our PC's and they run adobe master collection and solidworks et all just fine

I'm having some problems with a script in papercut. Its aim is to grab jobs over 100 pages, then give the user a yes/no option to either cancel the job or send it to our resources department. The below functions, but I can't for the life of me figure out what the condition i need for the redirect to send the job to resources. As it is if I select Yes it has the same effect as selecting No. I had tried actions.client.confirm however that shows up as an unrecognized command, only prompts seem to work
