@RTFM I have to disagree, whilst Photoshop is the standard design package, when doing real websites, there is no Dreamweaver. A designer designs, and a coder will then code it. It doesn't matter what the kids use to produce websites, serif, dreamweaver or notepad.

We use serif x4 here for web design. The kids and students seem to get on with it well, producing some good stuff.

Check for a loose screw that might have become stuck behind the new motherboard and shorting on the case. I've seen this more than once.

I got my letter from Virgin Media on Monday. It says sometime within the next 18 months. IIRC 50Mb and 100Mb connections need to be upgraded to work, so they can't just flip a switch and double up everybody now.

There are people on 100Mb already. They get bumped to 120Mb

Try a Linux disc, then you can see if it's a Windows or hardware fault. I've replaced a few non working buttons over the years but it's usually the left one.

I've repaired a fair few that have had the metal end snapped off. As long as the board isn't to damaged or had the solder pads ripped off it shouldn't be to tricky. I use an old floppy or IDE cable for the wiring. I have a metal end already soldered to the wires i used to do that many.

I've never used, but this ISO CD DVD image creator, editor and ISZ DMG DAA UIF to ISO converter - UltraISO can extract/create/edit/convert CD and DVD image files directly, make bootable CDs and convert ISZ DMG DAA UIF to ISO. looks to have similar features to Magic ISO

If you notice the date at the bottom it is only upto 2007. Depends what you are wanting to do, i use SlySoft Virtual CloneDrive for mounting ISOs. Imgburn for burning as Oaktech said above

The new version doesn't use a dongle and the licence only covers machines on the network and 1 stand alone machine IIRC. Teachers with local logons to their laptops would therefore need individual licences.

I've bought them from ebay, usually about a couple of quid each.
