    I've also seen high MSE cpu usage when it's wrestling with a virus/malware.

    Malwarebytes run in safe mode ? MSE is pretty rubbish at stopping stuff, and useless at finding stuff once it's on a PC.

    I never saw class sizes of 15, and both parents and teachers were told on induction day "There are a queue of parents wanting their kids here, mess about and you are gone" There was absolutely a massive difference in student behaviour in classes. Maybe it's the times, this was 20 years ago.

    The main difference between private schools and non private is discipline and the kids are pushed much harder. 30-45 minutes of home work for each of the two subjects each night with three at the weekend.

    Either failing sound chip on the board or bad capacitors causing the issue. Both of which i have seen before.

    I've seen if the laptop is playing a video then it is unable to switch to the external monitor. Check the two mounting screws that hold the video cable are screwed in also, so the video cable is attached tightly.

    It depends on the fault. I've never run it on a server, but have seen it take over night on a home PC and I've also seen it screw up a few.

    What about using different software all together ? Exact Audio Copy gives far better results than WMP.

    @CHR1S, I'm guessing the 120% indicates some have failed more than once.

    Seagate used to offer 3 years as standard on their drives. Now it's only 1, i guess they know their product isn't as good as it used to be. Their "reconditioned" drives they send as replacement are also garbage as per the article.

    Can you force it to just use 'a' in the wireless settings ?

    Check the BIOS battery isn't dead also. I've had a laptop that refused to boot due to this.

    Or a key not working or maybe it's been moved on the keyboard.

    Any lights change after pressing the power button ? If the battery was out when you arrived at the laptop, perhaps it has had a fall or impact ? Check for loose RAM maybe ?

    The Ruckus kit works best when plugged into 1Gbit sockets on the switch rather than 100Mbit. As above they will quite happily handle 15 tablets.

    Boot from a Linux disc like Mint as I've had a far better success rate rather than using Windows. Yes Ontrack are legit, I've used them in the past and am a partner.
