I use dansguardian on my home network to keep my kids off those naughty sites (like being at school dad is what I get from them) anyway I have installed a couple of those free MMPORPG on there pcs and some work some don't I have narrowed it down to dansguardian blocking the servers, as when I try on my own pc it works and I have dansguardian ignore my pc. Is there a way I can find out what the server ip is as I start the game so I can create an exception rule and so they will be able to MMPORPG to there hearts content.

I had a look at the software you mentioned TinyChimpboy and thats not really what I was on about, after some extensive searching on google the term thats being used for what I'm looking for is PIMP XP and it seems the two I'm using samurize and object docker are two of the main ones. That looks like a few things to look at whats the game like cybernerd? do you play? torledo I do agree but for the moment I think my boys will be better of with XP I must say to that I would like to use free apps just incase they don't like what I do

I'm in the process of building two new PCs for my sons (12, 14) nothing over the top but far better than they could dream of, they both have p3 at the moment so this will be a huge improvement. I want them to have a wow factor with the interface and desktop I am using "objectdocker" to give them the MAC menu thing and I am trying "samurize" to make their desktops look cool as they put it, and I have bought them gaming cases for it all to go in. I was wondering if there was any things people have used themselves on their home PCs and been inpressed with, you know the sort of things you can't use at work. Also any free MMORPG that you would recommend at the moment.

Sorry I should have gone into more detail (been a very strange day today) Exchange 2003 I will have to check the service pack when I get in on monday but I think its SP1 on a 2003 server with sp1 the clients are Xp Pro SP2 with all the updates as of today

Well today is a very sad day here at my school. It was announced that the school will close due to falling numbers, wee have till August 08. I suppose its not going to be much of a problem for me as I hope to have my visa completely sorted for Australia by then, but I feel sorry for the kids and the other staff. There has been lots of tears today and students want to campaign to keep the school open but I think that it really is the end here.

I want to create a short term share, one that will be empty every Monday morning. The reason behind this is teachers claiming they need to have an area to collect students work but want it to be deleted at the end of the week. Well no problem there I thought I would just schedule a bat file to delete the directory on Friday nights simple. but no. del command only deletes files not folders or at least I thought so I found a reference to /s switch that should delete folders but it won't for me. And it seems deltree won't work with a wildcard Anyone got another suggestion. I need the share to always remain but the contents to be deleted on a weekly basis
