I have been doing some reaserch on the net and i think i have found a card that may well work the Realtek 8139 which is also available as a dynamode NC100TX-R Has anyone used one of these cards with a RIS setup, if so these cards are available for £5.99 + Vat, which would make a reasonable RIS NIC

Chris, you are right, if you go to your licensing area on the M$ site you can download the Server 2003 R2 iso, I did it about 3 months ago.

I have been reading a little about this and was wondering if anyone has tried it out yet? I use RIS here to deploy my images and follow up with Group Policies to install various software packages, has anyone used the toolkit with RIS? because I see you have to have a separate partition for this to work. I would be eally interested to read any of your experiences.

We have the same problems with mice and keyboards, and it seems to me that (here at least) teachers just don't care, almost to the point of its not their problem at least not until they want to take a lesson. This has to be my biggest waste of time but how do we find a solution to this problem?

What do I think of Mcaffee ?? Early days but it has found one virus that sophos didn't find. The worst bit about it was the lack of centralized management, but I have now found a utility from mcaffee called Protection Pilot and I am able to monitor my network virus situation just like SavAdmin from sophos

I have just tried "C:\Program Files\Sophos Sweep for NT\setup.exe" -remove -ni -s and it worked logged on to the local machine, so now its just case of trying it remotely

Hi all, our LEA has just decided to move us away from Sophos to McAlfee antivirus, this leaves me with the problem of uninstalling Sophos from all of our machines (laptops and desktops). SAVADMIN allows me to install remotely, but how do I uninstall remotely?

Hi I have just recently fond this website and I am so glad tha there is a place for all of us ICT people. I work in Plymouth, and find the job very demanding with not much thanks for my effort, although I do enjoy it.
