Evening all. I just want to ask the question. Does anyone know of a system that just manages iPad. I'm talking to the point where I can virtually write them off my to do list. Currently we have one of the techs who deals with them. But he's handed in his notice and unless I can get a new tech soon then it's coming my way to do Managed iPads Little if nothing from me. I second this... Granted I haft to spend about 10 minutes every two months (Telling one or two people to type there new password in) when the password cycle expires. But 10 minutes of my time for no more exchange server or worries...... I would take that deal 1 million times over!

Afternoon all, I have a weird question. What software have you all got on your networks that saves you allot of time / hassle. For example we have recently invested in Salamander Soft which means we remove a huge amount of work for creating accounts now. Im currently looking at replacing the core infrastructure. 2 Nodes with a san. Lots of P to V ing after that. Consolidation feels good! Also hoping we can stretch the budget to replace the 10+ year old core switch. Then ill be looking at IT suites and the 10GB backbone. Its all in the works!

Morning all, Basically i am changing out login screens here at the school. We have had the front of the building re-built and i thought it would be nice to have it in fitting with that. That being said I basically want to get rid of the login picture box () How can I do this using group policy? A beer for the person who can help! Regards Matt

Ok, so I have just bought a trial laptop from Ergo. Its nice (Even after the massive pain in getting it!). That being said the spec for the cost was rather good.. for £395 per unit i was getting; 15" laptop Matt screen i3 @ 2.5Ghz (i3-4100M) 8GB DDR3 240GB SSD TMP module 36 months warranty. However it now turns our that the Ergo Stock control is shockingly bad and have no TPM models left & its going to take 6 weeks to get some more! Can any other supplier beat or match this? I need 21 laptops (Will be ordering within the next 2 weeks) Matthew
