Good luck keeping things on the wall in a new build. The walls are shocking. New builds are good for convenience but not in the long term. If it is attached to another property, you'll be able to hear everything they get upto. With new builds, there is always certainly a maintenance annual fee as well.

Me and the wife have just finished watching Breaking Bad. Watched all the episodes over a three week period. Superb. Best TV I think we've both watched. It's the sort of TV that we wouldn't have even contemplated, but wanted to know what the hype was about.

We currently use Zendesk, but our central academy team are trying to pursuade us to use the Every System in replacement for our IT Fault system. I did look at it a few years ago and found it very unusable. Anyone use it? Any comments would be valued!

Damn Parent Pay. The student sync from SIMs works fine, but you cannot do it for staff. Why?! Been a bug bear for many years!

Staff use LAN School to blank student Screens, display the teachers screen. We use DameViewer for remote control but that is also old hat. So if there is something built in for Techs as well that would be a bonus.

We are also going through a difficult time with our Cockapoo, Treacle. She's 5 years okd. About three weeks ago now, we woke up one morning and she couldn't walk. She lost all feeling in her back legs. After a Scan, it turned out she had slipped her spinal disc putting pressure on her spinal cord. That weekend was an eventful weekend, with plenty of decisions to be made. We only had £3k insurance, with £1k already spent on the scan alone. The vet recommended putting Treacle to sleep, but we had to give her a chance. It has been very hard work. She is a disabled dog and can't walk and is finding it difficult to control her bladder. She is slowly getting back, and feeling is coming back into her legs. It's messing her mentally though! She's all confused. We had a year to the day it happened, 1 september. Our new insurance started on the 1st, but the insurance company are getting funny about paying out. We started a crowd funding page to help us. Turns out that a new category 'HTTPS Transparent Sites' was enabled during the update. Un-ticking this resolves the issue.
