Driverless cars will not stop people throwing their dirty fag ends out the window.

This is a bug bear of mine and extremely dangerous. Drivers who are absolutely vile and throw their fag ends out the window. I am never afraid of confrontation on people who do this. I will flash if it happens, and even get out the car. I know of someone that the car in front threw their fag end out, it went into their car and the interior caught fire. Bit extreme and rare I know, but it can happen. It's disgusting.

We are thinking about buying our 6yr old an Amazon Fire for her 7th birthday. The 7 is on offer, but is it worth getting the child friendly one? Is there much difference between them? Can you still do parental controls?

We've recently change our DNS entry for our Zonedirector. For our guest SSID, it still goes to the old DNS address for the Connection Activation Page. Any idea's how to change it? For the life of me I can't remember how to do it?!

There's something wrong with this map

We are exactly the same at our secondary, but we still experience issues. I have been a customer for well over 5 years, we actually signed a new 3 year agreement last summer 2017, and performance is definitely dropping. We even have issues now.

Any ideas when will be back up?

Does no-one else do location blocking? Smoothwall don't seem to be very helpful. They say if it doesn't work by name, you have to use IPs. In their documentation it says you can use name...

We are experiencing a few issues with Location Blocking within Smoothwall. It worked last week absoulutely fine. I have been in touch with smoothwall, and they say I can only use IP's for blocking. I have tried the name and that's correct, the location blocking doesn't work. We add the IP and it works. We don't really want to reserve IPs purely on a management side of things. Anyone have any suggestions?

Tesla, and other electric vehicles, are great but I think it was off yet. It's too expensive and there isn't enough infrastructure in place. For example, there are no places in work for me to charge a car if it was required. Also not enough electric charging points in public places.

Still very flakey for our 8 schools. We’ve been a loyal customer for approx. 7 years now, but the service is getting ridiculous. If it wasn’t for the price, I would certainly look at moving. When it works, it works well with some super speeds. It does seem to happen once a month though especially after patch Tuesday!

We use Haptic. Always help us out. But with any supplier, it's buidling that relationship especially if something needs returning. We can order immediately, with next day delivery, and without a PO number. That sometimes is a god send!

For our MAT though, I am thinking Azure would be quite expensive. Do many schools use it? I have no knowledge of it, so would need extensive training i'm guessing.

Is it expensive? This governor works for MS, and I don't think he realises how schools run.

One of our primary school governors has asked why we aren't using MS Azure. I'm not sure to be honest as apparently it's free. I'm guessing it's quite difficult to setup, and does it take much management? I'm after pro's and con's.

What are people's thoughts on this? We have a policy in place for users to change their passwords every 100 days or so. Standard 8 characters, 1 number, capital letter. I am thinking of changing the character length but extend the time change. Anyone use 2 layer authentication?

We use Smoothwall onsite at our secondary, and hosted lightspeed for our primaries. In my opinion, Lightspeed is a little too basic for the secondary but absolutely superb for the smaller sites.
