No, they're ERGO AS 1's.
-
I've tried in different locations; still no luck. There seems to be no BIOS upgrades available for these machines, even on the official website! Yes, a switch firmware upgrade won't be possible.
-
Hm, I'm not 100% but I'm presuming it's a Netgear switch. Most are here!
-
No - I didn't. I'm not too sure how to, also, would that matter if other machines have worked on the same switch?
-
Unfortunately not no! :-/
-
Hello, yes - but it doesn't seem to be one of those issues. Also, if one machine would image, why would the next one not - clearly not an incorrect switch configuration. How would you adjust the network adapter? And/or do I need to upgrade the PXE version?
-
No - the port is fine, I've JUST imaged a Fujitsu with the same cable in the same port. We don't VLAN, but I'd presume the switch is fine if the Fujitsu worked?

Hello, So, I've posted about this before however I'm still having problems with it. Basically, I have MDT set up through WDS for imaging machines. Practically every machine in the network will image with no issues aside from these 'ERGO AS1' machines This is what appears on screen; Intel UNDI, PXE-2.1 (build 082) Copyright (C) 1997-200 Intel Corporation For Realtek RTL8111B/8111C Gigabit Ethernet Controller v2.10 (071105( CLIENT MAC ADDR: 00 90 F5 8C 21 E6 GUID: FFFFFFFF-0C0C-0000-0000-000000000000 PXE-E51: No DHCP or proxyDHCP offers were received. PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM. Why is this? Is there an easy fix? I have to image an entire suite like this and they all have the same issue, if I can't get it to work, I'll have to use the Windows 7 disc! Please help!
-
Okay, so I've just now had a proxyDHCP error with some Ergos. There is no bios update for these and I need to upgrade these ASAP! Any ideas about this?!
-
No - but should this really need doing? All other machines arrive and we OOTB image them!
-
Is there a fix for this? Obviously I'm imaging them using a CAT5 cable to boot from PXE
-
So, I've set up WDS/MDT and everything is perfect, all machines image without a problem APART from these new Lenovo's we have purchased... I'm getting this error when booting them into PXE; (Missing MTFTP Server IP Address) Anyone any ideas why this is???

Hello, so I want to slowly begin to implement the ability to save to 'My Documents' and it saves in a users' server provision. So currently, they have to go to 'Computer','H:\%pathtotheirarea%\' and they save in there. What is the easiest method of mapping 'My Documents' to their 'H:\' drive? However, we all know teachers love to save on their desktop. Is there a way of making the desktop have a server folder and be backed up? But WITHOUT including the recycle bin. That way, storage shouldn't be used up AS quickly. Thanks! :-)

Ohhh okay! So you're still dependent on next'ing on some installers?

No, yes it was just the base Windows 7 ISO from the Voluming website. I'll see how well this works! Whilst I'm talking to someone who knows what they're talking about, may I also ask, is there a better way of running the .exe installs? Obviously they're under packages etc. however every time I have to 'next, next, next' through them all. MSI's I have done through a /passive script so it's seamless, but .EXE is a bit more awkward.

So basically, download the OS with SP1 and then import this into Operating Systems? Then adjust the task sequence to use the OS with SP1 instead of the base OS, yes?

If I do want to overwrite the existing LiteTouchPE_x86.iso how do I do this (as in, the one on WDS). It's just I'd prefer to overwrite it with one that has service pack 1 on it as well.

This is currently my rules.ini I can't see any issues really? All it does is ask me to press start new installation, enter the network credentials and then type in the computer name. Upon pressing finish, it doesn't even install the OS?? Okay, I'm getting somewhere slowly. I've just adjusted some things and ran it again. It STILL asks for me for network credential things, and it now doesn't ask me which apps to install. I'll have a play around and if I can't get anywhere I'll reply again. Thanks!
