Can not be done without an MDM, iPads do not require any Apple iD to push content to them via an MDM.. 1. Ensure your free Mosyle ASM account is up and running with up to date certs for the MDM and VPP 2. Ask your reseller to add them to your ASM account, give the reseller your Org I.D. and ask them for their reseller ID 3. Assign iPads to MDM in ASM once they appear. 4. Deploy iPads with restrictions and apps they require. DONE.

This statement is INCORRECT Lightspeed uses BOTH Apple's Filtering API and it's own Cloud iOS Filtering solution, you get the same filtering experience whether on an iOS device or a Windows/Chrome device. I don't work for Lightspeed or Smoothwall and have configured and used both solutions, for iOS Lightspeed does a far superior job.

The 1st time you do this, before you download the server token file from ASM and add it to your MDM, you must download the public .pem file from your MDM and upload this file to ASM, then download the private key from ASM and upload to your MDM.

Yes once the student has signed into the iPad with their Managed Apple ID then as long as the teacher is set for that class they can see they are there and add them. ASM does all the syncing on this info.
