Yep, our trust uses it, we have still got smoothwalls in between our connections but the setup will change soon for us just to use the Fortigate. We also get the benefit it can interconnect all our schools and provide intersite connectivity. Support are really good as well.

Is this the private WAN firewall solution?

Just wanted to know what is classed as an acceptable loss of pings. Have had reports of various little issues. Have kept some constant pings going to external sites and if I was to send 500 pings I lose 3. Should I expect to lose one or two over that many pings?

We have intune licenses, the device should still be managed though. I had a look online and we don't enroll using user affinity.

Just having a play with intune and iPads. Settings are all applying and is working well. The devices are enrolled using our DEP, however when i install the company portal app the app says the device is not managed. The device is supervised in the intune portal. Any ideas?

So taking everyone's thoughts so far just some follow ups - DHCP: Done on Switch, had a look and Aruba 2540 can handle this and we use these as edge appliances at our secondaries. Is there any other switches people would go for? - Printing: How would people do this? We currently have central papercut in our datacentre and local print server in our schools - Domain controller: We currently have a central DC, would people authenticate against this or would go azure route?

Bit more background - Schools already using Bromcom - Each school has leased line and FTTC backup line (mainly in different ducting and separate cabinet where possible) - Home folders and Shared drives are all on google already

Looking to start moving some of our primary schools to a serverless environment. Each primary has a leased line with 100/100 connection minimum. We have our own private WAN (MPLS) between the schools and also have a datacentre for central servers. Currently we have smoothwall on site for filtering but are in early stages of looking at their cloud/hybrid solutions. Where would everyone start and any best practices?

We usually go for the Aruba IAP 315 model but looking to upgrade some other schools. Would people go with the 505 or 515 models from Aruba?

On our host we have two NICs (VNIC0 & VNIC1). Our management traffic to access the host is on VNIC1 but i need to move it to VNIC0. Eveytime i try and create the VMKernnel on VNIC0 it won't let me as it is already in use. How can i migrate it?

Strange issue with a teacher. Her teams meeting keep getting cancelled, so if she is invited to a meeting she will accept then maybe a day later it will say it is cancelled but it is not. Any ideas?

Is there a way to see engagement for a particular class in google classroom. The reports I can see in gsuite admin only seem to show an overview for the trust. Teachers want to know how many students in the class have logged in.

Yep that is right, the resolution is set correct but is off on the touch. Only way to fix it is by extended desktop which teacher does not want to use.

Having a real issue with calibrating it as Smart won't allow me to do it as it comes pre calibrated. Any ideas?
