Problem is as follows Teacher loads PowerPoint into full screen into and freezes the projector on the slide that they want frozen. Teacher then minimizes powerpoint and goes to Chrome and at that point display settings reset to monitor only and the projector then says no input. Drivers are up to date and latest version of windows, this has happend on previous ones as well. We have tried office 2016 and office 365 and have the same results. The way the equipment is setup is that HDMI from machine to projector and VGA from PC to Monitor. All cables have been swapped. Anymore ideas??? Thanks

Having an annoying issue with some machines where chrome will download a pdf and instead of downloading and opening in a new tab it will just as to save as first. I have checked the settings and it is always asking to save first before downloading even though settings are off. Any ideas?

Has anyone got a a good contact at NRS/Civica, the support has been terrible and can't get past first line to speak to an account manager.

Yes Office 365 I think a user has created another calendar from their account and then shared it to a group.

Have a strange issue where we have had a random calendar appear for some users in our school. No one has owned up that they have created one but is causing confusion as it is named pretty much the same as the school calendar. Hit a dead end with it as can't seem to find who created it.

Just thinking from a different angle have any of your clients got photoshop installed? May sound strange but had a similar issue.

Having a few people hit there mailbox limit and don't/won't delete any emails. What options are there from here?

Just moved to Sky and have a strange issue. If I move files locally from computer A to computer B the internet cuts off, can't ping the router etc and can't get online but the files still copy locally. As soon as the files have finished copying it immediately starts pinging the router again. Any ideas before I dig deeper?

Basically no real cheap way of this this then? Will the senders and receivers defiantly have lag?

Can run both, is there a better solution that I have not thought of as didn't expect there would be a problem until electrician came round and said may be an issue running hdmi at that distance. Would be very annoying with the delay and want to avoid that if possible.

At the stage of being about ready to start wiring my house that is being renovated. Will have Sky Box and Xbox in a different room to where the TV is. It is about a 10m run but 15m cables will probably be used as there are some bends to go round. I want to be able to view everything in 4k still so would you run the cables or would you run ethernet and then convert at each side?

Ok but can we still just backup one way, the latest vbm file will be deleted from the source folder but will still be in the google folder and i will have a copy of the new vbk each time in google so surely that is good.

Just testing some bits out and want to find a way to backup Veeam files to google drive. So currently the school has on site backups and is done using Veeam which saves the Veeam files to the SAN. Currently they are using reverse incremental backups with 1 month retention. The school also has a backup in our datacentre which has retention of 6 months. Question is how can i get the Veeam files to google drive. I want it to backup the vrb files and also the vbk file. I want it to only copy new files from source folder to destination and want it scheduled. Is this something i can do with robocopy or robo mirror?

Ports is where I would start, try adding an existing printer as a new printer on the server and see what happens.

Just installed all of our new switches (Aruba 2940 on the edge) over past couple of months. Not used to the aruba switching before so just looking to see if anyone has any useful commands on the CLI as have got used to bits of it but still think i am missing some useful commands.

Yep done that already and it still chooses to only notify primary inbox. Seems to be a limitation in outlook after reading some threads.
