I've got the Truecrypt application installed on all our Admin machines and on staff laptops. We're about to encrypt some USB drives with Truecrypt. I'm aware that you can set Truecrypt to auto-mount volumes on start up which would require the stick to be inserted before the user logs on but is there a way to have Truecrypt detect and mount an encrypted USB drive when it's inserted??? I can't find anything which says you can. If not, the way we're doing it seems to work fine. Just thought it might make things easier.

After the recent adverts, for some reason, I thought I'd give it a go and typed Compare the Meerkat into my browser and, lo and behold, I've been comparing meerkats all afternoon!

We encourage kids to lock their computers if they're going to the printer or stepping away from it for a moment. We had a spate of evil children doing things to others documents while they were away from their computer. We get the odd one leaving their computer locked or locking it instead of logging off but we wouldn't consider it a problem here.

You place code on the pages and Google track the data and present reports to you. You can choose to have them emailed to you, too, monthly or even weekly. There's lots of information that it presents to you.

Think I said this in another thread. Font is ok apart from telling the difference between bold and normal text. Almost the same for me.

I was ok with the font until I was on my User CP and found it hard to differentiate between bold and normal text.

Hi guys. Our kids are using Windows Movie Maker (don't like it myself) and webcams to capture video directly to the application. Unfortunately, it's captured to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\My Videos\ and so, when they open the project on another computer, it's not found. Sometimes it even opens another kids video if it happens to have the same filename. There's no option to change this location (the only location in the options is for temporary storage which is completely different) so I was wondering if there was a registry entry I could change on the mandatory profile which I could set to a folder on their mapped home drive. Thanks.

I had that as well, recently. Hadn't been for an eye test for about 5 years and thought it was about time. Quite surprised that I came back with 20:20 vision. Pleased, though.

I was just wondering, then, how many times ZH was going to alter the time. It got to 11:49am and I thought, "Is he going to do it again?" Hope the update went alright, ZH.

I have a Samsung G600 on the Virgin network. For ages I was happily accessing my Hotmail account and my Google Calendar via WAP on my phone then, all of a sudden, I get the message "Request failed" whenever I go to these sites. I think I can rule out the phone because I've tried another SIM on another network and it works... so therefore can also rule out the sites. I've been in touch with Virgin and they say there's nothing wrong their end but I'm not convinced. It's really annoying because I found those sites very handy to use. So, the deal is at the moment that I can't access any secure WAP sites on my phone... no https sites, that is. Anyone else had this problem and, if so, did they manage to resolve it???

Someone asked me what good is it when whoever steals a USB drive can just delete the container file... I proceeded to tell them that the encryption process was to prevent access to the information, not to prevent it being deleted. Some people get a bit confused.

I've got tonnes of extensions on 3.0.4. How's the beta with extensions??? Cope ok? Don't want to start using it and nothing work.

Seems to have bypassed us here in Wigan. Frosty this morning and a bit slushy but the sun's out now. Supposed to be the same again tomorrow, apparently.

As well as what I posted before, I'm also subscribed to the Time Management Master RSS feed. It gives daily hints and tips on how you can keep your day organised and stress free. Some are useless but most are really helpful.

I use Outlook for work which reminds me when I need to do things. That is synchronised with my Google Calendar so that I can get organised wherever I am. As well as that, my personal calendar on Google Calendar is set up to send me SMS messages whenever an appointment is near. It's all kept me ridiculously organised and it's great
