Thanks for that Ghanel, I get an error runnig the script:- C:\Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command, which I presume relates to the Sims path

I have an internal site (Office Web Apps server) that should also be resolvable externally. Internally, I can resolve the site in either Edge or IE without issue, however if I try and resolve it in Google Chrome, it doesn't find it. I've disabled Net Prefetch and QUIC through GPO, cleared system DNS cache, browser history as well as cache using net-internals I'm stumped as to what is causing this, and how to resolve it

I've recently started installig out new Unifi wireless system, and am having trouble getting a WPA Enterprise SSID setup to authenticate with an NPS server. I've followed the guide at https://www.gypthecat.com/how-to-configure-windows-2012-nps-for-radius-authentication-with-ubiquiti-unifi but still don't seem t be having any luck, and am tearing my hair out with it.

I'm not getting as far as the PXE environment... it doesn't get as far as giving me the option for pressing F12 for service boot.... If I remove the deployment, the option re-appears and I can then PXE as normal
-
EDIT:: I've got another task sequence causing the same problem. The boot image and WIM files are distributed correctly, and I can't find anything in the logs to indicate the issue
-
I currently have a task lists deployed to our student PCs' using "available" so when we rebuild the machines, we have a choice of images to deploy. This morning, I captured a new wim file from a machine, added it to a new OS image and distributed that to the DP I have copied an existing task sequence, and then amended the OS being used. Currently if I PXE boot a PC, I get an option for the F12 network service boot, however once I deploy this new task sequence, the PC will then sit for a couple of minutes waiting for server, before timing out. I've check the OS image has successfully distributed to the DP, and have check the site status query messages (nothing untoward in there) I'm at a loss how to troubleshoot this

As a school we have Edge set as the default browser (don't judge me.... wasn't my choice). Recently Youtube has been problematic and is insisting on a login on Edge, whilst working fin in both IE and Chrome. Any thoughts on what/why/how we can fix this? Cheers Iain

When I try to connect to the server, I get the following error, and am at a loss how to troubleshoot it. Can anyone help me please

Extra machines appearing in collections in SCCM
neonetman replied to neonetman's topic in Enterprise Software
Just a follow up on this.. still no further forward.. I've rebooted the server, and updated the membership on each collection (starting with all systems and working down each limiting collection ).. still no joy. Has anyone come across this? -
God monring all, I've just taken over a school network, and whilst lookign at SCCM I seem to be getting some strange results:- The collections I'm having issues with have a query based membership based on the OU the PCs are in... e.g. all PCs in an OU will be members of the relevant collection. I have a number of collections showing more PC's than should be there (including a test collection I have just created) For example, the collection for room 138 points to the OU for room 138. The OU contains 14 PCs, yet when I left last night it had 21 members in the collection, increasing to 23 this morning I'm completely bemused where these extra PC's are being picked up from.

I used KPMS Commercial to buy replacement remotes - may be worth seeing if they do a cheap compatible one

As technically that credit belongs to the previous occupier, they will normally reset the meter to zero, and credit the other person. Same applies with any debt on a prepay meter - they will clear it and bill the other person. Theoretically if they left you with the credit it would be theft..

Although not free, we use Javelina Software ADUsers - it's very versatile for both creating and amending users (including scheduling the changes).

We've just taken devliery of a new HP PC (8th Gen i5). I've tried deploying our normal PC build task sequence to it from SCCM, however as soon as it has installed the OS< it reboots and tells me it failed to start (no matter whethe I choose normal or safe mode at this point, it fails, reboots and does the same again). I've tried deploying a basic task sequence that simply formats the drive and installs windows (missing out any additional drivers/software), to see if that helps, however the same occurs Can anyone give me any pointers on this?

We currently run 2 sites, linked by a hardware VPN. The 2 sites are configured on different internal IP ranges, and set up as separate site in AD Sites and Services. Currently, when I login to a PC a the main site (containing the Exchange server), Outlook will configure itself and connect correctly. If I take the same PC to the 2nd site, and log in identically, it struggles to get the settings and connect to the server The firewall rules between the 2 sites are wide open, DNS works as I can browse to webmail/ping the Exchange URL. I'm at a loss where to look next as the only difference is which site the PC is sitting at. Can anyone give me any hints what to look at for this? Cheers Iain
