  1. I don't know how to do it, but our SLT have things like meetings, isolation and call-out on their timetable. They are called "Non-Class Codes" and come through from Nova NT6. That's as far as I get involved in timetabling!
  2. Sadly we've just done a wholesale change of products with our parents this summer, so much as I liked the kitkat brochure, we won't be in a position to look at it any time soon.
  3. We had problems with ours for a while, though ours has an ethernet NIC on the machine itself so you do configure it in the menu. I gave up in the end and put a firewall rule in from that single static IP to have unrestricted internet access, no firewall blocks, no guardian blocks. I did notice later, months later, that the engineer (who wouldn't let me near the machine, he had to put all the config in himself) had not entered and 'saved' all the static IP/gw/mask/DNS etc that i'd given him. I can't remember what he'd missed but it made complete sense to me once I found it. Peter
  4. You need to invite your VPP user into ASM. Settings > Enrollment Information > Scroll down > Invite VPP facilitator. However we were warned by Apple (on a support call about another issue) that we had to revoke all our VPP licenses for paid apps from users in our MDM before inviting the user into ASM, then download the new .stoken from ASM and upload into MDM, then re-invite users and re-issue licenses. Users have 30 days grace between revoking the license and the app disappearing from their devices, so as long as they re-enroll and you resend them the new license then the app won't disappear. I'm not convinced the revoke/reissue was necessary as i'm sure it would have been much more prominent in the upgrade notes if it was, but we did as we were warned. Peter
  5. I've just tried from home - same results there. Peter
  6. Ah... Yep, i'm getting the same. We don't use device management though, so i've never been in that area.
  7. Are you hitting the big yellow button?
  8. Has anyone had problems deploying Workstation Fix 2? I updated to Autumn 2019 last night with 20-30 agents offline, no problem. Deployed Workstation Fix 2 this morning and it's only finding 28 stations to deploy to...
  9. I was about to say, the support on their forums has been great when I’ve needed it.
  10. Do you use SalamanderSoft? We do, and are about to contact them to setup the groups for us. Peter
  11. Good morning. I've just been copied into the attached (redacted) email claiming to be from Leeds City Council, but actually from LookedAfterCall which is the same company/group as TruancyCall. Has anyone else had it, does anyone know about it / use it? Regardless of whether it's legit, it's screaming at me of a totally inappropriate way of asking a school to send their data out of the blue to some organisation they might never of heard of. 12. Can't say I've ever used that method....
  13. Ah, our APs are on a different VLAN so had to put DNS in for that right at the start.
  14. We put 75 nanoHDs in at Half Term, all running 4.0.54 on a VM controller with 5.10.24 Not a single dropout. Regarding "automatic radio channel", note that with Unifi this only applies at AP boot. So if all your APs come up at the same time (ie after powercut or reboot of POE switch, they'll all scan for a free channel, see channel 11 free, and pick it. There's no ongoing dynamic monitoring happening. We got a site-map of the school and physically set all our APs to 1/6/11 on 2Ghz. We left 5Ghz at auto as it doesn't penetrate walls so much so there's less interference.
  15. We've been with Manage Engine SelfService for 5 years, but just moved away from it. We're now using https://dovestones.com/active-directory-password-reset/
  16. Is one of the other rules (that you're not deleting) somehow corrupt - can you edit/save each of them?
  17. That looks more like an incorrectly configured FRSM rule, missing a valid value (eg filename mask or suchlike), rather than a server/service issue?
  18. Does anyone have their own training database, with made-up content in it, for training/interviews/etc? I just asked Capita for the Green Abbey database but they don't provide it to schools, only support units. Anyone willing to share?
  19. We've also just replaced our 2012 ruckus with UniFi. 75 NanoHD APs plus 10 AC Pro APs for £11,000
  20. What code is it generating in html?
  21. We’ve had two 2524’s die within 36 hours of each other, separate buildings, separate electrical substation feeds, separate uplink routes almost as disparate as you can get. Anyone else got any problems with them this weekend? Loss of activity, link LEDs all freeze. Power cycle, all LEDs inc Fault come on and stay on.
  22. You and I are on the same task today - i've just discovered LLDP and investigating it with a vengeance! Unfortunately I don't know a helpful answer to your question yet.
  23. Excellent! Are you on Autumn release (7.190 from memory?) We’re still on Summer (7.188 from memory) So if you are on latest, it proves it’s not been fixed. I’ll log a call today and post my case ID. Can you let me know your case ID then engineers can cross-reference our tickets. Perer
  24. We're just replacing ours with TrilbyTV. We looked at it 12 months ago but didn't have the right staff to do the content justice. We now have a social media/marketing person, ex-student, media communications degree, running our social media, website and publications, so she's taking on the TV screens as well.
