Not sure what size the survivor case is but the slots are roughly 17mm wide. I got caught out with this myself, our iPads have to have their covers removed before they are put in.

Another option is using click and buy and direct debit to your school bank account. And yeah it seems you have to buy one app at a time.

I was playing on the xbox, there still seems to be a good few players as I haven't had many problems getting a game on team deathmatch.

I'm assuming you checked that no other antivirus program is installed. Maybe the laptop is overheating and thats causing the sluggishness. I use avast on my machines now and usually google chrome for browsing.

Have a number of Kensington Charge & Sync cabinets here. They are a bit poor for cable management if you want to use existing cables rather than the short ones they sell at an extra cost. The slots are tight also so cases have to be removed before placing the device inside. There is a good selection of storage options on this site

I find I have to close out of configurator and then opening it again it will ask for the apple id and then it will work. Seems to lose it if you have configurator open for any length of time. I also re authorize in itunes after closing down configurator.

Yes you are supposed to purchase it once for each device. Apple have a bulk purchase facility called VolumePurchaseProgramme which allows you to buy licenses for apps, if you buy over 20+ licenses for a certain app there is usually a 50% reduction in price- developer dependent. When purchasing there are two different options depending on how you wish to distibute the apps: "Redeemable Codes: Download a spreadsheet containing redeemable codes which you can then provide to your users. Ownership of the app or book is given to the Apple ID that redeems the code. Codes will only be redeemable in the UK store. Managed Distribution: Assign apps to users on iOS 7 or later or on OS X 10.9 or later using a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution, such as the latest version of Apple Profile Manager. You retain ownership of apps only, allowing you to revoke and reassign them as needed." There are lots of threads on here about iPads. I suggest you look into the various options and see which one suits best. Personally I use Apple Configurator to manage the iPads as supervised devices which also allows you to retain app licenses.

So I was asked to reinstall vista on a laptop yesterday and started it off around 6 pm, still had the laptop on last night at 11.30 after waiting for SP2 and other updates to install and i'll finish it off this evening. What would yous charge for the like of this? I quoted £30.

I have a mac mini here that keeps freezing up when I try to use apple configurator 1.4. Has anyone else experienced problems? Any suggestions on how to fix this? I added about 100 users into configurator yesterday so maybe this is the cause? Thanks
