I got my lightning rod redone and built up to build height so it is effective in all these storms. I made a couple power monitors and a redstone control port so the reactor is semi auto based on power needs.

I have it connected to GAFE with no issues. I use the standard IMAP and SMTP configs that google provides for other clients. I see there is an option to use exchange, but does the software consider o365 exchange. I would try imap. There is also a tick box that says enable email tickets. There may be a few more tick boxes, it has been 4 years since I set it up. It has worked well for me.

Emeralds you say, not problem. I have a MFR spawner with a villager that trades wool for emerald. I'll spawn you a few.

I made tools with the smeltry for the first time. I wish I'd made the hammer sooner.

I have a big reactor, magmatic dynamo, reactant dynamo, sterling generator, lightning rod, and windmills. I'm thinking of making biofuel reactor to process a lot of the extra saplings and such I get from the farm. All of that generates RF, I'm using rednet energy cable to power my IC2 machines. I do not have anything that generates EU. I am in the process of compressing coal into diamonds. I'm working on flux infused armor which is diamond hungry.

@Shielder Yes a basic capacitor will connect directly to a lightning rod, then connect energy conduits from the capacitor. Although I need to upgrade, I'm still using leadstone they are only capable of 200 RF/t.

I just found out I can get niter from sandstone, so I will be going forward with the gelid cryotheum.
-
I nearly have a reactor completed. I used the bliz spawner and then found I don't have the niter I need to make cryotheum. I'll probably fill it with red stone tonight. I have a fair few tunnels from early game. I also left stuff behind if I was making a tunnel to somewhere and not just mining. I am far enough away now and there are no tunnels, if you can't fly it is very unlikely you will stumble upon my base.

Hello all, I have two issues that may be related. The end goal is to setup IP virtualization for the RDS clients so I have better logging and correct user level web filter. The RDS server is in the servers vlan, so I connected another adapter and gave it an ip and vlan configuration for the student vlan with dhcp etc. I tried using GPO to configure this but it did not work. Do I need to set the specific network adapter ip address and mask in the GPO for just the network ID? That is adapter IP = 10.0.75.20 255.255.255.0 Do I enter 10.0.75.20/24 or 10.0.75.0/24 ? I ask because I have two servers and if I need to enter the specific IP I cannot use a OU level GPO it would have to be local. The clients still connect to the IP in the server vlan. I tried powershell, however the configuration provider in powershell for RDS is blank. Any advice on configuring this? Thank you,

I setup a grinder to take care of the zombie army that keeps trying to break down my door.

My ISP just doesn't make sense. Every night 8:30 - 9:30 and beyond the game starts lagging very badly I can't play. I checked ping times 3000 + MS, did a speed test and once ping completes it reports a half decent speed. I currently average 150ms to the game server I also checked a few other sites and I get 1000+ ms to google I called them up to report the issue and when they found out the old modem I have they blamed that and said I need a new one. Me: so the old modem that works now is programmed to slow down at night? ISPTech: yes Me: so your going to give me a new one at no cost? ISPTech: yes A year ago when I had connection issues they tried to blame the modem and wanted to sell me one for $100. I borrowed a neighbors and proved it was not the modem, so they came and fixed the lines. Now I guess I get a free modem arriving Monday, and will have to call back when it doesn't solve the problem.

Yep a yearly reunion, winter coming on, will start playing again. I will PM shortly. Thanks,

1 are you using app locker or SRP, if not a user can install stuff in their own profile. 2 what program is the task calling to check for the dll and display the message? Try blocking or deleting that program. 3 If the task has a consistent name and isn't random rubbish each install, delete the task with GPO. Hope this helps.

YouTube for Schools - How do you signup!?!
ADMaster replied to RichardHam's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
I created a test OU and test account. After I turned youtube on it just signed in no prompts for age or anything. I tried to upload content and it asked me to create a channel and how I wanted to be known on youtube. I didn't proceed from here so don't know if it will ask for g+ or not. I will turn it on for the High School and see how it goes. -
YouTube for Schools - How do you signup!?!

Hi all, I have setup the google apps admin console to allow staff and verified classroom teachers to approve videos. I have followed the network setup for users not signed in to get restricted mode. Also the cname method seems to be working on my windows dns. I didn’t have to do the hack with the IP address etc. I can sign out and I get restricted youtube, I sign in and I have full access. All appears to be well. I created a test student account and when I try to sign into youtube I get the message the service is not available on my domain. We have youtube turned on for staff and off for students in the admin console. Do I have to allow students to have youtube accounts to take full advantage of the new settings. Are there new settings I’m overlooking that gives view only access. I don’t think we want students uploading their own videos to their school accounts. Thank you, -
If you just moved the data to the drive you will need to set the MinimumFileAgeDays to 0. I think the default is 5 days. I'm not finding a source for that, but that is what mine is currently set to. You will want to set it back once done, or the drive will constantly try to dedupe files after every change.

On mobile ATM but i have a previous post showing needed permissions. I think it is list / traverse on the upper level folders.

First I'm not sure why you would want to delete your own documents folder... However I have tested this. When logged on as the user I tried to delete the documents folder, the result.. it deleted my documents but left the folder. I went the the server and deleted the folder and the user had errors trying to access their documents. I logged the user on to a different PC and the folder was re created by the GPO. My guess is some GPO caching is why the original PC didn't create the folder again. I'm not that bothered to dig through event logs etc.

It looks like you need to redirect their documents to a sub folder, that will get rid of the entire list displaying as my documents. I share the root of the structure and have DFS setup so if the file server changes the UNC path does not. server path d:\shares\students\year\username unc path \\domain.tld\school\students\year\username documents pitches desktop etc are all redirected to a the appropriate sub folder under username.

Yes you need to disable the host / guest time sync for the DC and set your PDC role holder to sync to an external source. I got myself into a bit of a loop when I setup my first virtual DC all the clocks kept jumping 5 minutes ahead. The host hardware clock was off which put the DC off, then they kept syncing the wrong time to the rest of the network. If you setup a 2012 DC check its time settings. I had my 2008 server as the authoritative time server for the network and the virtual 2012 decided to take over and got everything out of sync. The 2008 has since retired and 2012 is now authoritative.

It may be a long shot at this point, but are the task sequences pointing to the same CM client package. If not point the failing task to the same package as the one that is succeeding. If I’m not mistaken that error is a disk issue have you tried cleaning the partition table? Enable the command prompt F8 in your boot wim or boot into some other recovery Diskpart Select disk 0 Clean all This will erase all partitions.

We are using typing club, it is web based.

We have the radio clocks, but we also have a device that broadcasts that signal, and it gets it's time from NTP.

Thanks, I’ll have to do some more testing. I had a thread ready to post and did one last check to find the printer installed.
